I've been a customer @ Dave's 4cylinder since I bought my 1st car. Many cars & decades later I have always been happy with the work the former owner Jeff & his wife/partner did for me. The new owner, John, was employed by Jeff. Since John has taken over the shop I confidentially feel he has stepped right into Jeff's shoes by his honesty & his knowledge. I feel I can rely on John's recommendations like I was never disappointed by Jeff's. Since we rely on our cars so much it's great to have an honest & competent mechanic

We have been using Jeff for over 30 years. Always a quality job, and fair pricing. Does a great job at diagnosing and lets you know what you should budget for in the coming months. Many times he has gotten a job done for us when we were in a crunch. A very good local shop, that I would highly recommended to friends and family. Super friendly shop with fair prices and nice employees. Always are upfront with what needs to get done as well as what is essential vs non-essential. Work is done in a timely manner, and in a emergency they have been able to squeeze us in on more than one occasion. They are good with both our older Jeep and our newish Highlander. The bottom line with any mechanic is trust--I fully trust Dave's Four Cylinder.

One of the best finds in the 20 years I've lived in Westborough. Jeff and his team are honest. conscientious and fantastic mechanics. They are fair and reasonable and very economical. While they are called Dave's 4 cylinder, don't let it fool you, they've got some big blocks in there too. I take all of my cars to him

In most cases you can trust independent shops. Unfortunately not in this case.
This shop will not take responsibility for their negligence. They caused damage to my vehicle during a routine Inspection.
Not only is that unacceptable but they also have no regard for the cleanliness of the vehicle as well. Hand prints all over the car, they didn't bother to cover the seat or floor mats with covers so i had grease and oil inside the car.

This shop is nothing but a back yard scrap heap of un-certified techs that have no background in any specific manufacturer and charge way more for then they should for an inspection.
They add on $15.00 for a convenience fee.

do yourself a Favor and find a proper Shop.

Terrible shop actually worst shop in MA destroyed my vehicle then ran away from problem. Convjnetently never there when I went in terrible terrible experience. Told me they would have it done in a week or less had it for 2 weeks didn't do a single thing but ruin it making it undrivable. Then blamed it on me when I returned from my trip. TERRIBLE!!
