A real store with everything my granddaughter needed for her TBJ class. The woman was so patient and helpful as my granddaughter tried on several pairs of tap and ballet shoes, sincerely wanting to make sure the fit was perfect… and we had arrived just a short time before the store was to close. Highly recommend!

This is such a special place! Came in today last minute for my shy 3yr old sizing up dance shoes before she starts boston ballet class again tmrw. I was blown away by the incredible customer service of the nice, knowledgeable and expedient dancers working there.
Got everything we needed (and full bedroom decor:), and was out the door in time for nap shortly after. Thank you for making my daughter feel so welcome and special - she is so excited for her first “drop off class” tomorrow, thanks to you!

Paula and Marisa were both amazing and so kind! They went out of their way to help me and Paula patiently spent a very long time finding the right shoes for me when I was being very indecisive.

Absolutely amazing. I'm an adult dancer who just started pointe. Went there for my second pair of shoes because my first pair, which I bought elsewhere, did not fit correctly. Paula knew immediately what the problem was, she spent so much time with me, explained so much about my feet that I had no idea about, it was awesome. Not only did I leave with shoes that are pain-free ( and even comfortable!), but with so much more confidence in my abilities because so many of my problems were caused by the wrong shoes. Seriously, she knows her stuff!!! I cannot recommend more highly and will absolutely keep going there, even though I live 2 hours away!

I never been here and didn’t see any signs indicating that I needed to wait to be attended or spoken to. It’s a store so, I did what I would normally do when I go in to a store and browse. I disliked my experience much here. My daughter and I came from Boston to get her shoes for ballet. At the door, there was a sign that said open and must wear mask to enter. My daughter and I wore our mask in and the (owner) was busy with a customer. Me and daughter noticed that and I told my daughter to walk around and let’s try to find what we came in to look for.the owner (Paula) She looked up and yelled across the store, “Where are you going? You can’t go there” basically. My eyes and blood pressure was high and I was ready to yell at her but I kept my cool and waited for the associate to come and take care of us. The customer that was there with her daughter didn’t even looked back. If she doesn’t know how to speak to people, she shouldn’t be there. Just hire more people. The associate that took care of my daughter was nice and apologetic for her bosses action. I thanked the associate for her time we got what we needed and left. Will not be coming back to this store.

My 9-year old has been dancing for 5 years. We happened across Dancers Image as a place to help fit basic ballet shoes for hard-to-fit feet. Amazing experience. My daughter could try on and see live video display of shoe on foot. The woman helping us was so knowledgeable about not only the shoes, but also how dances feel about them as they progress....full sole, split sole, leather, canvas. My daughter is as thrilled with her shoes as she was when she got her first pair.

WOW! What an amazing experience I had! I just got into dancing and realized I needed to buy shoes! Going to Dancer's Image was the best shoe shopping experience I have ever had!

Camille was helping me and she probably brought out 25 pairs of shoes for me to try on (my feet are wide I guess! and I am picky!) She was the sweetest and she made me want to be her friend! She was so understanding and we were laughing the whole time.

After I picked out the TWO awesome pairs of latin dance shoes, the owner of the store, Paula, came out to talk to me! She saw how excited I was to get my first pairs of dancing shoes and we ended up having an inspirational talk about dancing and her many years of experience dancing in the area! She gave me a LONG LIST of places to go out and dance in the area-- I was borderline emotional after speaking with her because she was so helpful and kind to me. I can't get over how cool and knowledgable Paula was! She also inspired me to try out more types of dancing styles like tango, rumba and more!

ALSO-- after going to other dance stores before this one, I can't say enough about how beautiful, spacious and organized Dancer's Image is! You don't feel overwhelmed and claustrophobic -- it is so clean and a wonderful space.

If i could give 0 stars I would and I wish I had read others' reviews more carefully before going to Dancer's Image for my daughter's pointe shoe fitting. Like others, our experience was horrible and incredibly upsetting. The woman who "assisted" us spent the entire time insulting my young daughter and complaining about her job, us, my daughter's training, and the child who she had been fitting just before us. She made 4 different negative remarks to my daughter about her body and made what was an experience that my daughter had looked forward to for years, a very sad day. I was truly aghast at how this person spoke to my child and I. There were several other negatives about our experience that I could add but this alone is enough. We will not return and would caution anyone from going to this store. There is a clear pattern of similar behavior towards others who have posted reviews and it is unfortunate that they continue to treat people, and especially young dancers, in this way.
