We were first exposed to Holly years ago when she was helping out at my daughter's first studio. My daughter danced at the same studio for over 6 years and the choreography was so similar for every routine she danced in, by the end she could perfectly mimic each teacher's style in her own freestyle sessions. But when Holly got there, it was like a breath of fresh air entered a mildewy old library. One of my favorite parents described her as "good for her daughter's mental health". When Holly opened her own studio, that stagnant studio threatened to FINE parents if their dancers did even just a private lesson with her. So several of us left (my daughter was forced because we became vocal about our intent to join Dance Complex LOZ) and embraced this change that the Lake needed. Holly is one of the hardest working dance instructors at the Lake. Her reputation in the industry even has dancers traveling from the cities (like Saint Louis) to work with her privately. Whether your dancer is just getting started, or doing it for fun, or wanting a career in dance, it just doesn't matter. One chat with Holly, and you personally will want to spend more time with her.
