This school is great for people at normal learning levels or below but gifted kids aren't getting what they need here. My sister and two neighbors are considered gifted but because it wasn't recognized in elementary school, DHMS offered NO support towards them or any other person who wasn't recognized as gifted right away when they were little kids in Kindergarten. The school offered a great learning environment and had a program for making friends, although now some younger kids I know there are complaining these are going away and bullying is increasing due to their anti bully program.

The only way to get good grades is to GRIND, which most people don't do. There is so much homework that you have no time to do anything, so you joke around with your friends in class. Then the teachers get mad because your having fun and you need to work, but BOI we can't have fun after school so we need to do it IN school. The lesson of this story is GIVE LESS HOMEWORK.

This is the best school in the galaxy. There is NO rapes as of October, unfortunately we did lose a few kids in the penguin war that was started last week. But fortunately they were "special", so you know.....it's chill i guess.

i didn't really like it but some of the teachers were great like Mr.Cline.. But i really disliked Mrs.Lutz. And the Principal i hated him, and the rules about the hair and shoulders rules SUCK! But hey Mr.Cline, Mr.Kurtz, Mrs.Frost, Mr.Velander, Mr.Stangl and Mr.Stangl (they're brothers), Mr. Albertson, Mr. Scheuring there all great i had all but one of the stangl's they are the BEST! the education is okay unless you have one of the teachers said before they're so fun. Btw it's not a collage it's a middle school it's in the name....

Love this school. Pretty mello but yet still at a high standard.8th grade english teachers are the best with only a moderate amount of homework all over the school. Has a lot of opportunities and might send you to the high school if you are really good at math or spanish. I really like it and hope, if you go, do to.

Pretty Sick College. The Teachers are good and they usually help when needed. Though the Dorms are really not as good as they are very dirty and infested with mice. The girls here are very aggressive towards my swaggy glasses and hair.

Teachers are inconsiderate (except miss hill she was cool) all the homework was far to much I'd learned very few thing from the three years I wasted there and hated most of it I found very very little of what I learned to ever be useful in life and all of the "principals" (what they call them selfs to make them feel important when there really just people who look forward to being rude talking about the bad student in a very rude way and overall being very useless) are quite jerks along with one time I was in early at the school to catch up on some things and I over heard sixth grade teachers talking about how they got "hammered last night" and why one of the teachers didn't come to school because whey where to hung over along with another time this one teacher miss thuer had sworn a few times I from of her 7th grade kids is this how we teach our young ones now ? Along with another teacher mister Walsh who was alway 20 minuets late to his gym class and mister Taylor who hadn't shown a thing other than quite useless movies for at the least 80% of the year. I just find the school to be filled with bad teacher unreasonable homework terrible discipline and overall a crappy place

Overall, Dakota is a good school, and I really like it, but not enough is really being done to stimulate gifted kids.
Other than that, it's awesome!
