Chris did such a good job at presenting the material! He was very knowledgeable and helpful with answering questions! His eagerness of teaching the course made the class very interesting! His enthusiasm made me alert the entire 3 hours! I am definitely looking forward to the next class and I would highly recommend this class and instructor!

This was our first firearms class. We learned about the important rules regarding gun safety, how to handle guns, how to select the right gun, different types of ammunition, how to disassemble and clean, and very important rules. Chris has extensive experience and takes time to ensure all questions are answered. We learned a lot and feel more knowledgeable about guns. We have signed up for the next class and look forward to training on how to responsibly fire a gun. Chris is an excellent teacher and very enthusiastic about teaching people responsible and safe use of a firearms.

I would highly recommend taking a course from CPDefense! Chris Pongratz was my instructor and he was fantastic! The quality of the information was how it was presented was perfect. I was really nervous to go by myself but was really wanting to take a course as a new mom. Chris let me ask a ton of questions and never once made me feel stupid for asking. He encouraged the questions and really helped me grasp a better understanding. The virtual range was impressive! It helped me practice what we learned and put it to use right away with different real life situations. I even got emotional after one situation and Chris was able to help talk me through some of those fears that it had stirred up in me. I would highly recommend this to anyone! I’ll be returning for more classes in the future!

Very detailed Intro to Firearms class by Chris Pongratz. I learned the basics of types of guns and ammunition as well as how to disassemble and clean my handgun. I am looking forward to the next classes on sighting and stance then self defense and home defense.

I was impressed with the Intro To Firearms course at CPDefense. It was a thorough and interesting class and covered everything I hoped for. We covered everything from handgun basics to ammunition to care and cleaning. We even broke down the pistols that class members brought.
