They do not help you with what you need when you need something and/or something happens, most of the time they do nothing to help or better, they only promise to help the students but they do not, most of the time they do not pay attention to them and ignore them or sometimes they blame the student.

They do nothing against bullying, they just let it happen and turn a blind eye, and let's not talk about the people who have anxiety attacks, why don't they help, if not they make it worse by overwhelming you with questions and sometimes scolding you, and all they do is let you stay out of that classroom.

this school sucks . you can’t even go to the school to support your kids when they receive awards they have no explication as to why you can’t go . and they try and charge you for everything for instance during thanksgiving the kids do a race to see who will win a pie and they charged parents 10$ a ticket to watch their own kids run a race. parents are only allowed on campus for parent teacher conferences .

My child assist to this school at the moment and i really regret putting her here but i really got to say that this school has been the worts school my child has attempt . I heard a lot of bad things about this school in the past and never thought it was actually thruth i really got to say there's is a lot of bullying going on and students taking advantage of other students. I got to say some of the teachers and assistants here are soooo rude my child was attack by another student in the past and even tho they saw the camaras and saw my my child was drag to the floor and hit by this other student they end up suspending my child just because she was trying to defend herself by tryin to get the other student off of her and so she could stop punching her but since the school rules is that they wanted my child after she was drag on the floor they wanted my child to just get up and walk away like wth i don't think nobody after been attack would even do that and honestly we all now schools don't like to deal or even try to take care of the problem they think suspending everyone involved is that best decison but it's really NOT because this why why bullying is never gonna stop and this why a lot of childrens are suffering from bullying at school .
My child was hurt again AND and once again even tho she didn't started this she got suspended again for defending herself .....I hope that the main office sees me review and maybe step up and make better school rules or something because this is really out of control and ugly.

The teacher I had to deal with in pre- k teacher would always refer to me as grandma, she did that for my, now 6yr old, and again with my now 5 yr old, and she would always miss pronounced my daughters name, then she said she could be a boy because her teacher said she could be one if she wanted to, and the bus driver would make personal stops on the way to drop off my child, this was told by my 6 yr old that does not make up stories like that, and I missed my daughter kindergarten graduation because I didn’t get an invitation.

I attended this school from kindergarten to eighth grade. This school represents everything that is wrong with the school system, especially when it comes to bullying. I was bullied on multiple occasions by teachers and students alike. Eventually, I stopped reporting it because nothing was ever done to stop it. I was not alone, I have relatives and friends that experienced similar situations with the same results. CMS claims to “prepare future professionals for lifelong success”. Apparently, that preparation includes allowing students to threaten and humiliate other students. How can children go to school and believe the motto “Excellence Every Day for Everyone” when their concerns go unheard or ignored? How can they possibly achieve excellence when they are not focused on academics, but rather focused on whether or not they will need to defend themselves during recess or lunch time? The staff at this school believe that the best way to deal with bullying is by writing the incident on a piece of paper and putting it away in a file – out of sight, out of mind. My sister will no longer go to this school after this year and if you really want your child to achieve excellence, you will reconsider enrolling him or her at Cordova Middle School. I hope you learn from our mistake and choose wisely.

Went to this school for kindergarten in the 90s. Mrs. Haverland was an amazing teacher that I still remember even 20 years later! After kindergarten I moved to Westwood and then Simpson within in the district. Rough neighborhoods, but the schools were great because I had so many amazing teachers.

The educators and administrators at this campus are awesome!! This campus is a part of the Alhambra Elementary School District and Cordova strives to give the best possible education, while teaching non academic life lessons, such as character counts.
