I moved my kids here from a nearby Lamorinda school district, and this school has exceeded my expectations.

Its a smaller school where everybody is very friendly and it feels like a family here. The lunch is so much better than the pathetic food from public school, as kids get to pick and choose from a wide variety of options every week. Multiple field trips and outings every semester for enrichment and the sports programs are well organized so kids with different talents can participate.

The academic competitiveness is not as intensive as those elite private schools that's costing $50k a year, but its definitely challenging enough to keep my daughter engaged in the classroom, given that her state exam result is a couple years above grade level. Most importantly she made friends here who regard learning as a priority.

The teachers are very engaging and parents get detailed weekly update on their kids academic progress. If they missed a homework, I am automatically notified on the same day by their system.

The school also has a well diversified student population. Kids are very well disciplined here, which is very important for an excellent studying and growing environment. I met many parents who are enthusiastic about devoting and contributing to their kids' education while volunteering in school activities.

Overall I recommend this school, especially if you are sick and tired of the California public schools and want your kids to thrive in a safe and friendly environment.

This school is amazing! The staff and teachers are super friendly. The teachers are kind and knows how to push the kids. Our son looks forward to coming to school every morning. We’ve never had a year where he genuinely adores his teachers and strive to be a better student each day. We love that the teacher’s responds to emails quickly and they take the time to help the parents as well as the kids.

I love this school so much!

I'm a new student here who joined 6th grade. The teachers are capable of keeping order in the classroom. Th school will strictly punish misbehavior, disrespect, bullying, etc.

The teachers care about you very much and help you through academic struggles.

Children are kind and inclusive. They make you feel as if you are all in 1 SINGLE COMMUNITY. Everyday here for me is full of joy!

Love this school. We did a the summer camp there to ease our boys into preschool (twin 3 year olds) and they haven't cried a single time, every morning they are excited to go to school. The school year just started and I love how they have events before hand to meet other families in the same class. We have a strong sense of community going into the school year! The teachers are all wonderful and it is apparent they adore children and what they do. I am extremely grateful for such an amazing school where my children feel happy and safe.

Our daughter is in preschool here. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the education, and MORE importantly the values imparted to our daughter. She has come home with knowledge and skills far above grade level. We will be sending her back here next year as well as our younger daughter who will be starting preschool in 2 years. EXTREMELY pleased and worth every penny.

Other families we have talked to that have experience with area 10-rated public schools or prestigious private schools have told us this school compares favorably to these other options.

I am a parent of a seventh grader. My child started attending Contra Costa Christian School in the fifth grade and I have been extremely pleased and impressed with the quality of the school from the staff and teachers to the parents and students. The school is dedicated to the students and the accessibility that parents have to the teachers and their child's progress is outstanding. I really appreciate the ability to be able to login and learn where my child stands with her grades everyday or look at what assignments are due. I find CCCS to be an amazing school that provides a great community for my child to learn and grow.

The teachers personally give each and every student the attention they need. With their help, she has been able to succeed. Our daughter has been attending Contra Costa Christian for the last year and a half and we couldn't be happier!!! The class sizes are more than reasonable. The values and education are excellent. We love the curriculum. The administration, faculty, and staff are readily available for conferences. The music program is dynamic, The Christian based education is inspiring not only to our daughter but to our entire family. We highly recommend Contra Costa Christian School.
