My husband and I are extremely pleased with our membership at American Ballroom Dance Center. The owners and teachers are just terrific and are very well trained in the numerous dances taught. They design your program with the dances you wish to learn as well as offering different opportunities for dance programs outside of your contract. All of the teachers have the patience necessary to walk you through the multiple steps of each and every dance. It makes for a smooth progression through the dance steps as well as a fun time every time. We are extremely pleased and have renewed our membership several times with hopefully many more years and dance steps to come.

I've taken ballroom dancing lessons in another place in another state and felt like I was being ripped off. But at American Ballroom Dance Center I feel like they actually teach us about the music, which has completely helped me understand much more deeply about why certain dances go with certain rhythms. They are friendly, go step by step, and individualize their training program. The individual classes lay the foundation, the group classes build on those skills, and the general practice sessions allow us to use what we have learned. I feel like this group of instructors are much more interested in us learning dance properly than my previous experience elsewhere. I highly recommend this place as a warm inviting environment where you can learn and have fun all at the same time.

I always admired the dancers on dancing with the stars and wished I could look, even the slightest, like them. The American Ballroom Dance Center has revealed to me that I could look like that. I love every moment I spend there, it's like a second home. The teachers are extremely well trained, knowledgeable, and patient. In just a short time I noticed a vast difference, not only in my dancing ability, but in my balance and posture. Their music selections are music that you would hear at any party which makes it easy to apply when you go out. I thought I danced well before, but now I have even more confidence in my dancing ability because of American Ballroom. I can't wait to see where this fun filled road will take me, and I hope whoever reads this will be dancing along with me!

First off I wanted to say that I'm 23 years old and I would have never pictured myself as a ballroom dancer prior to attending classes at ABDC. The Staff at ABDC have great customer service and a home welcoming attitude. I've never danced before ,but coming in with a sponge soaking mentality, I was ready to give it a try. I've learned so much in just 8 months and my entire ballroom expierience has been amazing. If you ever thought of taking dance lessons, then American Ballroom is your studio of choice. ABDC's teacher's are well trained, patient and judge free, professionals ready to take your dancing dreams and make them a reality. My wife and I began taking lessons in early 2019 and it's been great. The instructors are terrific, and they and our fellow students are all very nice people as well.

It is something we look forward to all week, and using this as "date night" has been more fun than we could have hoped. We've learned a lot, and look forward to learning more!

I called to inquire about taking dance classes for an upcoming wedding. It was about a 5 minute phone call and most of the time the representative lectured me for not giving ourselves enough time. He said something to the effect of- professionals can’t even learn a dance in 2 months and make it look natural. I got off the phone feeling horrible but luckily, we found a different studio that was willing to work with us despite the limited time we had.

Overall the instructors tried very hard and did follow procedures but when a customer purchases a group of lessons , private, group, dance , the group is usually a waste of money. They do not have enough students to have groups that reflects the skill levels. For instance if you are somewhat past the fundamentals and hope to learn the basics of a new step the group is often mainly new students who are just learning fundamentals. The group is too often beginner stuff no matter what your level. Many times during a group, the owner shows you steps that he knows and he says steps you will probably never learn or use. So students pay to watch stuff they will never learn or use.

My wife and I really enjoy our lessons at ABDC, the staff is excellent and they offer many opportunities to practice along with their multi level programs. We look forward to our time there and we sppreciate the personal interest they take in our dancing.
