Knocked out a Carbon cleaning for my '18 WRX. After hearing I had DAM issues (< 0.5), the guy (I unfortunately didn't get his name) provided a wealth of advice and did the diligence of retorquing the knock sensors without me even asking. Was super happy with the entire action, and car is running flawlessly since. Will be back in Spring for e-tune I imagine.

I was looking to have my car tuned, and they seemed to be the only local place that would return my inquiries AND offer the tune I wanted. whomever I spoke with was very knowledgeable and very professional, but the quote came back much higher than anticipated. the labor charge was almost as much as the tune itself ($399 for the tune, $350 to install). I asked what the hourly rate was which was $175/hr. I found it kind of hard to believe that it would take 2 hours to install the tune, so I contacted the tune manufacturer for clarification. they said it should take no more than an hour. on top of which, the quote also included a "shop materials" charge of about $21. When I asked about the charge, I was told that it was a mistake and that they had forgotten to un-check an automatically checked off box. I understand this is an easy mistake to make, however a revised quote was never sent. Now I can't help but feel like maybe they were hoping I wouldn't notice the extra charge. The manufacturer offers a remote tuning option which requires you buy their cable for $150, but they don't charge for labor. I almost bought the cable, but I found another shops quote in my spam folder with a cost of $105 to install the tune. I understand Bren Tuning has a very nice facility and thus everything comes at a premium, but pricing should be more competitive.

After purchasing my new 2020 BMW S1000RR here in the US, it was evident that the bike needed ECU adjustments and improvements. I would hands down recommend Brentuning to anyone looking to have there car/bike tuned or maintenance. They have gone above and beyond with customer service to the extent of coming in on a Saturday to fix a tune issue which I created. Extremely speedy response time from Bren and Chris and all my questions have been answered! Bike is a monster and anyone with an S1000RR these are the guys to see!!! The proof is in the pudding!!! A+ Rating. Owning a VW, it can be hard to find a great mechanic that knows these cars inside and out, but I found that here with Tim at Brent Tuning; he worked for USP Motorsports for 5 years. APR had a sale on Downpipes and just updated the Stage 2 software for MKV's, so it was time for the install and reflash from stg 1. Awsome product, awsome customer service. My 18 S1000RR stage 2 ecu flash brought out another side of this bike. You get to keep the handheld device and store your factory map. This was my 1 stop solution for post full exhaust install. So far it's been solid. Your bike will be so fast and pull so hard that your stickers will fly off, true story.

BrenTuning is a great shop. From day 1 Chris and his team were extremely responsive and answered all my questions. They were not pushy with any service and gave me exactly what I wanted.
The quality of their work was exceptional as well. I received intake cleaning, spark plug replacement, and a dyno tune. I can't believe how strong and smooth the car feels now!
Their attention to detail and quality really shows. Although they worked on the engine it looks clean and there are no dirt anywhere around the hood of the car where they were working or in the car where they were to perform the tune. It really seems like they respected the car and take great care with the work that they do.
Even after the service was complete and the invoice was paid, Chris was still answering my follow up questions and talking to me about my car.
I will definitely be bringing back my car and future projects to BrenTuning. They are second to none in my opinion!
