Peter ofBroken Neck Guitar Repair is a truly marvelous luthier.
I popped the neck off a '67 Gibson ES-335 bumping into my bedpost.
I thought it was all over, I thought my guitar was ruined.
However, I started searching and found Broken Neck Guitar.
I left it for about a month and when I picked it up and brought it home, it was impossible to tell anything ever happened and the guitar sounded absolutely magnificent, perfect.
Tunes perfectly and stays tuned for days and days and my guitar sounds so wonderful.
Peter also restored the frets to like new condition just by filing and polishing them perfectly.

Brought my guitar and banjo in end of last summer.
Shook hands, looked each other in the eyes, I say “Can you fix it?”, he says, “Yes”.
All this time, no word from Peter unless I call myself.
Last we spoke, he tells me he spent “hours”, “alot of work”, “lots of time” not fixing my guitar. Apparently his initial method failed, but that’s what experiments are for.
Last we spoke (December) he tells me he’ll try a different method to fix the guitar, haha.
Never does. Keeps hinting how I need to pay him for all the “work” he’s already done.
I don’t care if you can’t fix the guitar, but the least you could do is be an honest businessman and communicate clearly to your customers.
Don’t hire this man for anything.

Peter brought back to life my 1950 Martin 0-18. He performed a neck reset, repaired a poorly done crack repair, and used his “secret formula” to soften some pick scratches. The action is great and it sounds wonderful. Also, he is a nice guy. I highly recommend him.

Peter is a true pro. I've been taking my guitars to peter for around 8 years now. He's saved my acoustic from snapping in half due to humidity multiple times. He's put the finishing touches on a couple of my electric parts guitars as well. He set up my B Bender, installed new pickups on my acoustic, done countless set ups - you name it, Peter does it.

His prices are fair, his craftsmanship is amazing, and he's an all around great guy. I wouldn't trust my guitars with anyone else.
