Cannot say enough good things about BKA! I have been so impressed with the level of training provided by every single teacher my daughter has encountered through this program. My daughter has made so much progress in such a short time since she started working with Kurt and the BKA team. Their knowledge and guidance in picking material to best showcase each student's abilities and personal qualities is just amazing. Their connections to people currently working in all parts of the industry (actors, agents, managers, casting directors, etc.) provide a bridge and inspiration for students to see real pathways to making their dreams a reality. And most importantly, Kurt and the team genuinely care about the students as performers and as people - I think all the students and parents sense this and that's what makes BKA so special. We feel so lucky to have connected with them!

Working with BKA is the best choice we have made for my daughter. She has been working with Kurt (acting) and Brett (voice) for the past 4 months which has been such a wonderful experience! We noticed very quick progress in both her acting and singing performances. They always provide thoughtful and constructive feedback in in such a nice way. They truly connect with her which makes learning fun and productive! The coaching they provide is incredibly thorough and detailed. I'd imagine it's unmatched. My daughter recently participated in their industry showcase which was such a great goal to work towards! Twenty different industry professionals provided written feedback of her performance which we loved getting to read. As a very unexpected but HUGE bonus to the showcase process, my daughter has signed with both an agent and a manager to represent her. I stumbled upon BKA and found the best in the business for kids! Kurt spent one on one time with me and together we came up with goals for my daughter. I can proudly say she has so far executed EVERY SINGLE ONE!! I found all the coaches to be so talented and professional. My daughter landed an Agent in one of their Showcases and went on to book several theatrical parts due to their coaching! Her acting and singing definitely jumped to a new level. Her vocal trainers, Jeff and Brett are top notch! The Casting Director workshops are an incredible way to introduce your children to the business. I can’t say enough about this amazing group of fun loving folks…so supportive! They are cheerleaders for my child, checking in and celebrating her victories!! I cannot begin to say enough great things about owner, Kurt and the BKA team. Over the last year that our daughter has worked with Kurt she has learned and grown SO much in her acting, she has made wonderful industry contacts and her once shy, self-doubting self has become confident and more outgoing. She also signed with both a talent manager and agent, thanks so the BKA showcase! We have Kurt to thank for ALL of this. His kind and encouraging approach has made him a very favorite person in her life and she looks up to him and truly loves the time she spends with him. This has all been over Zoom, which makes it even more impressive that he has been able to make such an impact. When she was able to join a in-person workshop, she had the time of her life and loved working with such talented teachers and students. She still talks about it and asks weekly when she can attend her next workshop with Kurt and team.

Her time with BKA has not just made her a better/more prepared actor, but a more confident and happier kid overall. We couldn’t be happier to have her working with such kind, talented and dedicated teachers!!
