My wife and I attended the Selwyn Birchwood blues show here this past Monday evening. I'd been to a blues show here quite a few years ago and enjoyed it and this experience was every bit as good. The theatre is exceptionally clean and well maintained, a real treasure of a venue that deserves more support. The show was fantastic, including the sound, but I was disappointed that there were less than 100 people in attendance. They sold beer and wine for this show, which they apparently do on occasion, and they have a nice concession stand with popcorn and other items typically sold at a movie theater. This is definitely a hidden gem in regards to the excellent blues shows they bring in here and I look forward to more visits in the coming years.

We love the Bohm. 'Blues at the Bohm' is when we come down. Great staff, good acoustics, and its just a classy ol' building.

While in the area to unload at nearby Battle Creek...
Very nice restoration. I remember reading about this closed theatre some years ago and never having been in the town did not know much more.
But the name caught my attention and I had inquired about it. I was not in the financial position to bring it back to life but can see someone has and as I'd already said, a good work indeed!
Price was reasonable. I did not try the food not getting there in time without missing the show.
