Hosting our rehearsal dinner at Blacksmith was an excellent choice. Our guests loved the atmosphere and the ability to mingle both before and after the meal. Melinda was attentive to our requests for table placement and set up and helpful throughout the evening so we didn't have to worry about any of the details. The space was intimate and we were able to add our own touches with music and decor so it felt personalized for the bride and groom.

Forge Young Talent of Topeka hosted a Mixology Night at Blacksmith Event Center. It was a sold out event and very successful! The owner of Blacksmith Event Center was extremely accommodating and thoughtful. They had never hosted a mixology class before and were eager to try it out. The space was perfect for our event. Everyone had a great view of the bar and instructor. There was plenty of room to mingle. The owner was very attentive to the group's needs and went above and beyond to make sure the host of the evening could enjoy the event as well. Forge can’t wait to host another event with Blacksmith Event Center!

Best experience ever!!! Melinda went above and beyond to accommodate my family and I after two venues fell through the week of our rehearsal dinner. Blacksmith hall is a hidden gem! It is the perfect venue, for weddings, rehearsal dinners, anniversary parties, birthdays, retirements, you name it! The staff was so amazing and extremely attentive. I am so happy that I made that last call and booked the venue. Melinda was the best vendor I worked with throughout my entire wedding process. A true example of what a wedding vendor should be: extremely personable, flexible, and passionate about what she offers, not to mention she offers the best value in the area! I only wish I had other big events coming up to celebrate, so I could book the hall again!!! Don’t wait, call Melinda, you will not regret it!

I'm part of a local business organization and we had a social event at the Blacksmith. The planning, the execution, and the professionalism from Melinda at the Blacksmith was superb. The drinks were beautiful, the atmosphere charming and comfortable and the catered appetizers were fantastic. As I assist in the planning of many of these events over the course of a year, I have to say this was one of the easiest experiences I've had to date. We told her our budget, what we needed and she made it happen - with grace and precision. We will likely use her again in the future. Thank you!!

I have been to a few events here, it is very nice inside with a beautiful atmosphere. The actual size of the facility is the major limiting factor. If you are having a gathering of 50 people or less it is a nice facility. Parking is the only major downfall, you are right along a major highway and leaving can be an issue.

We hosted a couples wedding shower for some very special people at the Black Smith Event Center. What a gem this was to find, the space was perfect. Melinda made the booking very easy and the cost of this space was unmatched to anything we had looked at. The cleanliness along with a perfect kitchen space in the back made it very accommodating to set up for our guests. Our guests loved the venue, small town warmth and hospitality with a big city elegance.
