We've had a delightful experience at the Birmingham School of Music where our daughter takes voice and piano lessons. The school's approach is impressively effective, really bringing out the best in its students. Every staff member we've interacted with has been not only helpful and friendly but also incredibly entertaining. It is a fantastic place with talented and expert teachers. I have attended this school for the past five years. I love the school and the way teachers engage with students. There is no more excellent place to learn music than Birmingham School Of Music. They have teachers who specialize in almost all musical instruments. The school matches the teacher and teaching strategies with the learners' needs. The teachers work around your schedule to make it easier to attend the lessons. The fee structure is reasonable and worth it—a highly recommended place for music lovers.

My daughter has been attending BSoM for several years now and absolutely loves her classes! Now, even as a sophomore in high school, she is disappointed should she have to miss. She enjoys her teachers and feels they give her great instruction. They foster a love for learning music that is great to see. They help her develop skills at a pace she is comfortable with, yet challenged by. Russ, the owner, and his staff are communicative, professional, kind and always looking for new ways to engage and encourage students. I highly recommend BSoM for various music lessons. It has been a wonderful investment for our family.

My daughter is taking voice and piano lessons at BSOM since Kindergarten. I'm happy that the school has experienced teachers and they bring out the best of your kids. Monthly showcases are a great opportunity to show their talents and to boost their confidence. Very organized place & highly recommend to anyone!

My daughter has been in guitar lessons for almost 3 years. She has learned so much, and the teachers really cultivate an environment where learning is fun. The showcases are a unique and exciting way of “showing off” their skills, as opposed to a traditional recital. Everyone there, from the friendly faces at the front desk to the teachers and the owner, are passionate about music and will treat you like family. I will always recommend BSoM!

Birmingham School of Music is Amazing. This review is lengthy. Pros: Quality instruction, Creativity,
family oriented, great customer relations, attentive, flexible, budget friendly lesson cost, care and concern for development of student, welcomed partnership with adults, foster enriched learning, development and application . We have been attending BSoM for 2 years and my son has progressed through his lessons in vocal and guitar which has translated to more confidence, discipline, positive attitude and applying music as his meditation. Our son (14y/o) and (6y/o) daughter both have attended the Summer camps which are an awesome experience to be introduced to music, creativity, exploring and discovering the art of music through different instruments, reading and playing music. Due to the family orientation, great customer service, stellar teachings and instructions and skills gained for everyday life, we decided to commit to private lessons for our son, who now has been in several performance shows vocally and playing guitar. True blessing! We are excited for our daughter to start her private lessons this week. Our daughter has different abilities and gravitated to music naturally, and we are confident her experience will be amazing and Abundant in her creativity and life experiences. Cons: drive time distance, but worth it; and our daughter was not able to start private lessons last year after camp due to our family having to commit to additional academic learning and structure for her unique development process; but nevertheless, we are ready this year, Praise Jesus. Conclusion, STOP looking for other places and commit to BSoM for they will meet and exceed your expectations. Blessed experience to you and we are Greatful BSoM to share our experience.

Our 6 children have thoroughly enjoyed their music lessons at Birmingham School Of Music. The teachers have all been great and the owners, Russ & Laura, are wonderful people! The opportunity our kids have had to play in the monthly concerts in a relaxed atmosphere has helped build their confidence in all areas of life. I couldn’t let them have all the fun… I am now taking guitar lessons for the first time and am really enjoying it! Thank you Birmingham School of Music; I highly recommend anyone looking for lessons to give them a call! You won’t regret it!

My 5yo son loves going to BSOM.. He enjoys going there, learning and getting his reward from the treasure box every after their session. Hehe His piano teacher is Brendan and he is so good to my son.
