My daughter’s first time away from home and our family was an incredible experience, thanks to Belvoir Terrace. Diane and her team truly care about the girls and were always attentive to every detail, which gave me great peace of mind. Even now, my daughter continues to talk about the amazing time she had there. The staff’s care and attention helped make the transition so comfortable for both of us. I also have to mention that the desserts on visiting day were absolutely delicious! Thank you, Belvoir Terrace, for creating such a wonderful and memorable experience for my daughter.

My daughter has been a Belvoir camper for three summers. She calls it her “happy place.” At Belvoir, she hones her strengths with guidance from top-rate instructors, and she also finds new, creative outlets she’d never have time to pursue during the school year. Diane Marcus, the Owner/Director of the camp, is an extraordinary leader. She appreciates bright, creative kids who are interested in the arts, and she knows how to engage them. Every camper’s experience at Belvoir is bespoke, but at the same time, each enjoys camaraderie and connection. Belvoir is a warm, encouraging, and special place where every girl can tap into her creative side and enjoy the support of a community that celebrates artistic expression. It is an invaluable respite from the childhood rat race; if only I had known about it when I was a kid.

I worked at Belvoir for over ten years as a photography teacher. These were some of the happiest and most fulfilling summers of my life. Being part of a community of supportive artists from all disciplines, building deep connections with incredible students and their families as well as peers, mentoring my students through their development, and growing as an artist and person alongside them, all contributed toward BT being a touchstone of excellence and joy in my life.

The only thing better than working there, is being able to have my children be part of the Belvoir tradition. I have three very different daughters and each one has a place at Belvoir. Somehow they are even more obsessed than I am. It is their place, their home-away-from-home, where they feel nurtured, understood, safe to explore their interests and selves, and to build deep friendships.

I am forever grateful that Belvoir exists and that Diane is continuing to grow and carry on her grandmother’s and mother’s visions. She is a wonderful and caring director and someone I
am proud to count as a true friend. She cares so much about the legacy and the future and each camper’s development. She goes the extra mile to support each of them and to lead a stellar staff.

Belvoir is truly a special place. I went there as a little girl for 5 years and believe it has given me the confidence/guidance that has made me who I am today. My daughter goes there now and this will be her 4th upcoming summer. Nancy was the director when I went there and my mentor. Now her daughter Diane is the director and my daughters mentor. Going to Belvoir is like having a second family. The teachers and counselors are highly educated and extremely loving. There is no place in the world like Belvoir if you are interested in the Arts.

2024 Belvoir summer has been the best experience of my life! I'm so grateful for Diane and Nancy for making me apart of their amazing staff team. Diane has truly made this camp a special place for such talented kids to express themselves! I've witnessed so many beautiful things here at Belvoir, the connection kids and staff have made, the amount of amazing activities they provide, the amazing atmosphere the kids have with their performance art, they truly support each other in everything they do and are beyond talented!
I can't express how much of an amazing camp this is, it's a second home to a lot of people and I'm so grateful I now have Belvoir!

I spent this summer at Belvoir Terrace as a camp counsellor and tennis coach and cannot express in words how wonderful the experience was. There is truly an amazing atmosphere at Belvoir and everyone you meet there has such positive and motivating energy. Diane and Nancy provide the most comforting and welcoming experience to everyone who comes to Belvoir. The beautiful grounds also add to the magic and peaceful nature of Belvoir making you not want to leave!

It was amazing to see how all of the campers developed their skills in art, dance, music, theatre, sport, and more, all while having so much fun! I would highly recommend Belvoir Terrace to any parent considering this camp and to anyone thinking about working here as it is a truly magical place. Words cannot sufficiently describe how valuable, unique and special Belvoir is for girls. I was a camper in the 80s and have been sending my daughter since 2016. The camp has mastered providing the most wonderful environment for girls and young women. They are in their third generation of ownership and have seamlessly changed with the times while providing consistent successful summers of fun and education. The dance program has always been spectacular, but has reached new heights. I believe that in the six weeks my daughter spends there each summer, her dance ability improves more than in the nine months she spends in classes at home. All of the arts programs as well as the amazing tennis training are elite, but not pretentious. If you are looking for a camp for your daughter and are lucky enough to have come across Belvoir as an option there should be no hesitation. Those who know, all agree that Belvoir is pure magic!!!!
