We've had 2 great piano teachers with Bellas Artes - the most recent being Mr. Devin who was really great at working with my daughter in a way that would continue to engage her and get her excited about music and practicing, knowing that she naturally struggles with attention span, and sitting down to "practice" in a focused way is normally pretty tough to get her to do.

We love that Bellas Artes does "parlor concerts" once each year, which are small, intimate recitals hosted in someone's home. It's great to get to know some of the other students' families in a small setting, and have the recital in a unique and homey environment. They also do a big, traditional recital at a church once a year as well.

I can’t say enough how much we love the staff at this music school. My 7yr old daughter has thrived and loves taking lessons here. In fact, she is even asking to learn a second instrument! If you are looking for a wonderful place for your child (or yourself) to learn music, or take voice lessons, I wouldn’t look anywhere else! They are also very VERY accommodating to our Sabbath(Shabbat) when it comes to planning performances. They really go above and beyond to support families!
The prices seem about the same as most places, not too expensive but not cheap. Right in the middle. Worth every penny!

We've had the privilege to be a part of the Bellas Artes family for the past 15 years! My oldest was Justin's first student in Glen Ellyn; he's now in college studying engineering and music, a combination of interests that his teachers at Bellas Artes fostered and encouraged. Because three of our children play multiple instruments including piano, horn, cello, violin, and clarinet, we've had the opportunity to meet many instructors. I don't hesitate to say that every single one has treated my children as their own. They quickly recognize when their students need to be pushed, when they need to be encouraged, and when they need to rest. Their loving attention has given my children a consistent and loving environment in which they continue to grow and thrive as musicians in the truest sense. The confidence they've gained at Bellas Artes carries into leadership roles at school and in their other extra-curricular activities.

My sons recently participated in the Bellas Artes Jazz camp, and had a BLAST! They both came home laughing, talkative, challenged, and inspired. We loved listening to their conversation about camp, almost as much as they loved the experience of jazz camp.
My daughter is a beginning trumpet student. Throughout her first months of study, she has been excited and engaged. We have not had to remind her to practice, or encourage her to persevere. Her lessons with David have consistently offered her all the intellectual, musical, and emotional support she needs to remain motivated.
Overall, we love Bellas Artes, and are very, very thankful our kids have each found ways to participate.

We have been to many music schools and hands down, Bella Artes is the best. My son has been a part of Bella Artes for the past 2 years learning piano and it’s been great.
