Beau Monde is a beautiful studio and Ashan is a top-notch coach whose love for dance matches the care he has for his students. At the studio, you'll find a welcoming community of dancers who support each other on and off the dance floor. The space is gorgeous to practice in, day and night.

Ashan's philosophy as a coach focuses on developing strong fundamentals in dance and movement, along with an emphasis on the history of ballroom and the evolution of the sport. He teaches in a way that is fun, encouraging, and creative.

Highly, highly recommend Ashan and Beau Monde for all those who are new to ballroom, looking to step into dance with a committed coach, or those looking to take the next step in their dancesport training.

We have been taking dance lessons from Ashan for our "first dance" at our wedding reception next weekend. What a complete joy it has been!

We were so nervous on our first lesson, literally shaking and tripping. He was so supportive and kind. Every week he taught us a little more.

And yes! I highly recommend Beau Monde Ballroom. It is a beautiful venue with two studios and all the professional sound equipment that is needed to practice and perform. Ashan is an award-winning dancer AND a kind, uplifting person. We did not take lessons from the other instructors but met the pianist. She too was bright and friendly.

We can't wait to get back from our honeymoon to continue our lessons for social dancing.

My husband and I have been coming since July 2019. We were taking lessons at another ballroom dance company and feel that they planted the seed, however, Beau Monde Ballroom took it to a higher level and have watered that seed to the point at which we feel we are truly blossoming. We have been under Nicole's tutelage and have found her to be highly professional, incredibly thorough, patient and proficient. We are still novices in the dance world, but, thanks to Nicole and Beau Monde Ballroom, we go out to the various venues and dance with confidence and pretty much accuracy. We look forward to our lessons. The instructors there are highly professional and very welcoming.
We are truly grateful for this wonderful studio. After Nicole left, we became under Charisse's tutelage. Nicole surely laid the firm foundations for our dance skills after which Charisee moved us to a higher level. Charisse is genuinely affirming and encouraging and gets our blood moving. We have been extremely pleased with both Nicole and Charisse after which we are the beneficiaries of their highly professional skills, genuine love for their students, ardent and passionate love for the world of dance. These two amazingly wonderful ladies were handpicked for us.

Beau Monde is a great studio for dancers of all ages, styles and abilities. They offer a variety of group classes outside of ballroom dancing and private lessons for all styles of ballroom. The space is gorgeous, with a full-sized ballroom and smaller space too. Ashan has really transformed my dancing and I highly recommend him as a teacher for anyone looking to improve their standard or smooth dancing!

My wife and I have started taking lessons with Ashan, the studio owner, little bit more than 5 years ago. We have never danced before and, initially, just wanted to learn few Argentinian tango moves. Thanks to Ashan‘s personal touch and outstanding talent, we have grown into learning ballroom dancing and have started participating in competitions. We highly recommend Beau Monde studio to anyone , who wants to challenge self with learning the art of dance. The studio teachers are exceptionally skilled and extremely dedicated. Individualized approach makes you feel very comfortable and encouraged. But, be certain, you will sweat for your money. Ashan’s dance partner, Charisse, will lead you with her gentle touch and will make you levitate above the dance floor.
Fabio and Nicole, will get the fire going under your feet, if you dare to take Latin dance lessons.
The studio has the brand new, competition-size ballroom, which is full of light. Everything has been thought through to the smallest detail, so you wouldn’t get distracted from the dance practice. Truly, it’s worth it!

Ashan and Charisse co-own the brand new, beautiful dance studio called Beau Monde. They are passionate about what they do and have truly put a lot of effort into building their new studio. Their enthusiasm and charisma encourage students to keep coming back and trying again, no matter how tricky the step sequence might be. In my time of dancing at Beau Monde, I have learned more about dance than I’d ever thought I’d learn. Despite training more advanced dancers, the coaches are exceptionally patient and accommodating to newcomers. Beau Monde is a friendly environment and a great place to learn new things and make friends.

I've been dancing with the Beau Monde team since 2014, following them when they changed locations from Woburn to Burlington. From the very first day, I have felt welcomed and that the instructors care about my personal pursuits, goals and achievements. Class time is always well-balanced between technical critiques and having fun. And even when I have had to take breaks, coming back feels refreshing and like I never left. So if you want to try something new or get back dancing, I really recommend. I always leave a lesson feeling happier and more confident, I hope you will too.

Fabulous brand new studio filled with great professional instructors.
I enjoy all the group classes they offer but I have to say Show Dance is my favorite with Nicole Harrington. I have been taking private lessons for three years with Ashan Samarasinghe
