My husband brought our boat to Donnie and his level of customer care was outstanding!! We were camping in the area and he got the work completed quickly! Even after he completed the work, he called to check up on everything! I would highly recommend him.

Holiday weekend and Donnie saved our fun. If you need a Yamaha mechanic this is your guy. On a day he should have been spending time with family and friends he was able to get me what I needed. I will always recommend any business with this level of service.

Donnie is such an awesome mechanic and he really does care and try to help his customers. Donnie will get you out of a jam. This is what went down. Arrived in Cocodrie at 5PM Friday, June 22nd, had some business associates coming in from all over the country for some southern Louisiana Hospitality and world class Cocodrie fishing, I pull under the camp and what do you know, somebody had stolen the lower unit off the Yamaha. My neighbor recommended Donnie at Bayouside and I called and left him a message, pretty much begging for help or recommendations for locating a lower unit. He was at one of his kids baseball game but said he would run by the shop and see what he had. Around 8:30 that night Donnie called and said he had a used lower unit that he would get ready early the next morning(new seals, water pump, and oil). He told me to come by the shop around 9:30 and he would install it. Long story short by 11AM Saturday I was headed back to camp to launch the boat with what we thought was the correct pitched prop and a spare he loaned in case I had to switch. Thats customer service and taking care of customers. Successful fishing until the cam shaft pulley on top of the motor gave out on Monday, brought it back to him and he stayed to fix it till almost 9PM, back in the water Tuesday and Wednesday with my group, Moving forward the only person I will allow to work on my boat is this guy. Fair and honest pricing and willing to go the extra mile. Highly recommend him if you have a Yamaha outboard.
