I grew up in Westchester and danced at this studio for over 10 years. Mrs. Daniele- the owner- and her family are very much like family to me. There is a wide variety of classes available, from toddler to adult, and I had incredible instruction in ballet, jazz, modern, lyrical, and more during my time there. The teachers are always looking to spice things up, and we often took field trips to NYC and other locations to challenge ourselves and become stronger dancers. I feel as though I got as excellent of a training as I would have in Manhattan- I was even able to have a solo performance in my senior recital. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this company.

We love Ballet Arts - our 5 year old attending the past 2 years and our 3 year old just starting. It is an amazing learning environment that represents what I look for in a studio. I started at Ballet Arts when I was 5 years old and didn't leave until I graduated high school. Ballet Arts is truly run with love for their students! Mrs. Daniele knows every student individually and gives them all a chance to shine in everything they do. All the teachers are kind and caring and foster an environment of respect for their students. I could not have asked for a better place to learn ballet, voice and piano, and my experience there has definitely shaped who I am today as a music major!

My four year old daughter insisted that she wanted to take a "real" ballet class, and that is exactly what we found at Ballet Arts. Even the classes for the littlest girls have a dress code and live piano accompaniment. It is a delight to see how eagerly and happily the children listen to and follow the teachers - a difficult achievement with kids so young, and one that stands as a testament to the instructors. I've already seen the lessons of poise and attentiveness that she is learning in ballet class reveal themselves in my daughter's life outside the dance studio. We (both) couldn't be happier.

We've been at the school for two years and my little girl loves coming more than I can say! She looks forward to Mrs. Daniele's class every week and practices at home with glee more than I ever thought she would! I started attending Ballet Arts at 4 years old when they were located at the Mt. Vernon YMCA. I, along with the company, have developed over the years and I must say, they are truly what I will always call my "ballet family!" I stopped taking classes when I left for college, but I always make sure to visit when I'm in town and have a moment. I still stay in touch with girls from my classes and Mrs. Daniele along with my other dance instructors (Ms. B & Lia) always check in to see how I'm doing! If you're looking for great instructors and a dance family for your children (or yourself bc they do offer adult classes), Ballet Arts is DEFINITELY the place! xoxo

Ballet Arts in Pelham of course gives great dance instruction for kids and young adults, but they are also willing to go the extra mile. My wife and I needed dance instruction as to not embarrass ourselves at our son's wedding. Not only did Mrs. Daniele's teach us the basics of the waltz, salsa, and foxtrot, she did it after the school closed for the day due to our crazy work schedule. How many dance instructors do you know who would open a their school after hours for just two people? Can’t say enough good things about this place- a class act. BTW: We killed it at the wedding.
