Warning: Do not trust Auto Service Solutions or Bernie, the owner, as they run a shady business that will not take accountability for their mistakes and will make you pay for their errors.

I recently had a highly frustrating and disappointing experience with Auto Service Solutions regarding my Chevy Cobalt SS. I initially brought my car to this auto repair shop because it wasn’t shifting correctly and had starting issues. I left my keys and a note describing the problems. The next day, I received a call informing me they couldn’t fix the shifting problem and that I needed a new battery. I told the person on the phone that I would pick up the car after work, even though their work hours are the same as mine, making it difficult for me to get there before they close. When I arrived to pick up my car, I found that the cables were loose. The next day, I tightened them and jump-started the car, but it still wouldn’t start. Believing the battery was completely dead, I replaced it as they suggested. Still, nothing happened. Given that the car was already at the shop, I decided to let them handle the issue instead of dealing with it myself. I called the following day, which was Thursday, July 25th, and explained that I had replaced the battery but the car still wasn’t running. I asked them to figure out the issue, and they agreed to look at it. A week later, I called for an update, only to be told that they thought I was going to pick it up. I explained again that the keys were on the sun visor and asked them to look at the car. This made it clear that they hadn’t even touched my car all week. I was told to call the next day, Friday, for an update. When I did, they informed me they wouldn’t be able to look at it until some time next week. Despite their 4.7-star rating with 95 reviews, I tried to be understanding, thinking they might be busy. However, I found out that they had parked my car on the side of the street, where it was reported by a cop for blocking traffic. This led to my car being towed. I called Monday when they opened to confront them about the issue. They said they couldn’t help, even though the car was in their possession, and they did not move it to look at it. Instead, they lied and said they did look at it, which was not what I was told the week before. I confronted them in person, and Bernie, the owner, was not willing to take accountability for his mistake. Instead, he let me deal with the issue they caused, which cost me $450 because it got towed. There is also a review from two years ago with the same exact issue.

Warning: Do not trust Auto Service Solutions. They will not take responsibility for their mistakes and are more than willing to make you pay for their errors. Bernie and his shop will not hesitate to mess you over. If you are seeking reliable and honest car repairs, avoid this auto repair shop. Their poor communication, lack of accountability, and deceptive practices make them a terrible choice for any auto service needs.

While I did not have my own vehicle worked on by them, I can say first-hand that the owner is an honorable & honest businessman. My sister was traveling through the area and had car trouble, and they took great care of her… even went as far as opening on a Sunday just so she could pick up her vehicle as she was coming back through town.

If you need repairs on your vehicle, this is the place to use! We were on our way from Michigan to Florida on Dec. 23rd when we had a ball joint fail late at night and the right front tire almost came off. I selected a repair shop based on reviews and we had our truck towed to Auto Service Solutions the next morning before the shop opened. I called the shop and spoke to Bernie about 20 minutes after they opened and he said they put their other work on hold, already ordered my parts (he saw from the registration we were from Michigan), and would have it repaired by noon. Needless to say, we were overwhelmed by this good news -- we anticipated leaving it there for a week, renting a vehicle to continue to Florida, and spending thousands of dollars (between repairs and rentals) to get back on the road. True to his word, he had the truck ready by noon, picked me up from the hotel we stayed in, and transported me to the shop to take care of the bill. The bill was less than half of what I anticipated -- he did not charge extra for emergency or holiday time (it was Christmas Eve). He also offered his time and advice if ever I needed help in the future regarding appropriate labor estimates. We appreciate the help, the integrity, and the excellent service. Thanks for salvaging our family vacation, Bernie!

I had a great experience here! Bernie and Josh took care of my leaky old Subaru! They showed me what needed done, gave me a fair price and even deducted on the final bill something they did not have to do that was on the initial estimate. Great service at a great price!! If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Driving home to Michigan from Georgia and we hear a noise, smell rubber. We’re at Buckee’s and my husband googles a service repair shop and he finds this gem! About 6 miles away, we pull in at 2:07pm. Bernie looks at it right away and says he can have it done for us by 5:00. We drove out of there at 4:30pm!!! You could not ask for a better shop! He ordered the part from down the road, it was delivered in minutes and his mechanic started immediately. Bernie was honest, gave us a fair price and even explained how they price it. He was amazingly friendly, kind and funny too. He and my husband hit it off right away. If you ever need service, do not go anywhere else. Go see Bernie and he will take care of you!
