Please go here for an art project if you visit Bar Harbor. We had so much fun doing the wood burning. It was educational and relaxing and we made great gifts.

Loved teaching for ArtWaves!!! It has been a dream come true!!! Everyone who works there are phenomenal!!! Cant wait to see what life has in store as an artist. Mixed media acrylic has been so much fun to teach!!!

As a non-artist I was delighted and impressed with the creativity ArtWaves brought out during a glass mosaic workshop combined with poets providing the inspiration thru poetry. A great experience for both the artistic and non-artistic as well.

We had a salsa class with Caitlin C that was amazing! We are in the area for vacation and were so excited to see the many offerings from ArtWaves. The folks that run the place are very friendly and accommodating. The dance space was perfect with great acoustics/sound system, beautiful wooden floors, mirrors and a nice double barre. We will be returning for more classes! Whether you are a local or just in the area for vacation, it is well worth the trip.

I am so honored to be a part of the amazing Art Waves community as a dance and movement instructor! I was naturally drawn to the place where my love of dance started (I started taking ballet classes in 1994 at three years old with the previous owner, Joanne). The space is beautiful, spacious, and has great energy! Liz Cutler and Paul Weathersby stepped in and have put their heart and soul into the program, the grounds and the studios. All of the teachers are wonderful and there is truly something for everyone.

What a fantastic way to spend a vacation afternoon! Liz was professional, helpful, and easy to learn from. She helped us each create a mosaic that fit our interests and our varied strengths. I took my 12 & 15 year olds, and we all loved it! Would highly recommend you add Artwaves to your vacation plans if you are visiting Mount Desert island.

Highly recommend. Facility is amazing; instructors are knowledgeable and wonderful. So many art classes available.
