My husband and I took lessons to prepare for our wedding and we are so happy we chose to do lessons at this studio. We especially appreciated the team members and the way they put us at ease from the beginning. The instructors we worked with are so genuine, patient, kind and dedicated to their crafts! We were very unfamiliar dancing together and they make the process easy and the learning manageable. They were open-minded and considerate of what we were envisioning and wanted to get us there. One thing that was a little difficult was taking our first lesson on a very busy day with lots of different couples on the dance floor and music going at once. I would recommend asking the studio manager for a private lesson dance time that is at a more quiet and less crowded time of day if you are prone to overwhelm. It wasn’t a problem for us after and all of our other lessons were more private and we were able to practice to our music with plenty of space so we felt very lucky. I would highly recommend starting private dance lessons for a first dance or any occasion! The instructors are so knowledgeable and have a wealth of experience at their disposal. They gave us everything we could hope to get out of the process and got us confident in our dance. We hope to continue learning from and dancing with the wonderful people here. They were very accommodating of our tight schedule and did a great job adjusting the instruction and recommendations to our skill level. We have had a great experience taking lessons to prepare for our wedding first dance! We reached out and started lessons on a pretty tight timeline leading up to the big day, but had no problem in scheduling. We worked with Joe, his skill, patience, and enthusiasm quickly calmed any nerves we had and got us learning. Joe listened to what we were looking to accomplish, gave us some options to try, and made sure that we ended every lesson feeling happy and confident with our progress. After just 3 lessons, we feel very prepared and look forward to coming back!

If I could give 6 stars I would. My fiancee and I came to Arthur Murray to learn some reception dancing, father daughter dance, and of course our first dance. Not only were our lessons incredibly fun, but our instructor Joe was an amazing teacher. We are both so excited to show off our moves on our wedding day and are confident it will look amazing thanks to the expertise of Joe and everyone else at Arthur Murray. If you’re thinking about booking a class, do it. You won’t be disappointed.

We do not consider ourselves "good dancers" and our main goal was just to not look silly; but thanks to Arthur Murray, our first dance was a showstopper! My fiancé and I bought a 5 pack of lessons in anticipation of our first dance and we are so glad we did!

Our instructor, Joe, was awesome! We looked forward to going every week as we slowly put together a dance in which we both felt confident in. Having Joe as our instructor each week also made learning our routine that much easier.

I would highly recommend this location to any couples looking to brush up on their moves before their big day or even as a fun date night idea. We look forward to eventually getting back in there with Joe and the rest of the Arthur Murray team, who were always warm and friendly.

My husband and I came to Arthur Murray Burlington for some help putting together a waltz for our wedding. The staff is very friendly and they were able to work with us to schedule weekly and sometimes even doubling up our lessons due to our busy schedule. Neither of us are foreign to the concept of dance so for us, the staff did a great job. At first, we noticed were were getting 2 different instructors which was a bit tough so we asked to stick to just 1 to keep the style of teaching consistent. The team even helped us cut our song a bit which was so nice of them. The lessons were done in the ballroom while others were practicing as well so we would have to wait our turn to play our song to practice and the lessons were not necessarily inexpensive so that would be my only feedback: if there was an option or fee to have them private. Otherwise, we had a great time, felt very welcome, and could even feel how excited the team was for us to perform our dance during our wedding!
