We just finished our last dance class with Estuardo. My fiancé doesn’t dance at all so he was super hesitant on the taking the first class, but after we met Estuardo, our nerves were settled. He was so patient, knowledge, and kind. We both looked forward to our wedding dance classes with him, which I couldn’t imagine Chris looking forward to in a million years. We already miss taking classes with him! Thank you Estuardo!!

We took lessons our wedding first dance at Arthur Murray Boston. We were very pleased with the level of choreography and care from the Arthur Murray team--if we had to reschedule lessons, they were always very accommodating and the hand-offs between the different instructors was smooth.

We did the 10 lesson package and felt it was right for us, as a couple who didn't have any ballroom dancing experience. By the end, we felt quite confident and polished in the routine. During the wedding, we were able to recover from an early mistake and nobody could tell!

The Situation:
We were getting married in six weeks. My fiancee was a ballerina through the end of high school. I have danced three or four times, max.

The Process:
I looked online for a place that was convenient and had reviews for people who can't dance. The second studio I looked at was Arthur Murray, and they were (thankfully) the most responsive. After one intro lesson we knew we would stick with the studio (and the instructor) to get our wedding dance together.

The Result:
Six sessions went much faster than I ever expected. We learned and progressed with every minute spent in the studio (and really appreciated the extra practice time that came with the lessons). Dancing did not become the most dreaded part of my week in large part thanks to our instructor Catherine and I even (gasp) had fun.

In the end, we came out with exactly what we asked for. A simple dance without strict choreography that flowed and allowed us to be creative within the basic structure we had built. I was told later that everyone watching had been aware she danced and I did not - and I exceeded expectations (since they were zero). All credit to Arthur Murray.

I have been a student at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Boston for the past 16 years. It's difficult to put into words how much I love being a member of this dance family. The teachers are professional, patient and very edifying. Everyone is valued and treated with the utmost respect. A special thank you goes out to my teachers Harrison and Gary who help me to grow in my dance skills. Dance is truly an investment in one's health as not only does one benefit physically, mentally and emotionally but it's impossible to ever be bored. There are private lessons, group classes, parties, showcases, competitions, travel opportunities, you name it, there is something for everyone!

As we were getting ready for our wedding dance, we took classes with Arthur Murray and would recommend it for anyone trying to get more comfortable! I would definitely categorize my dance experience as nearly zero. They were very helpful in teaching the basics and helping find us a dance that was comfortable for us. All of the instructors were great, but definitely a special shout out to Rihana who made the experience really fun.

We went to the Boston Arthur Murray Dance Studio before our wedding to be able to dance our first dance. The evaluation and instruction was phenomenal. We knew what song we wanted to dance to, but had no idea how to dance. The instructors listened to our song and what we had in mind, and helped us figure out exactly what the best dance style was and how to get us to a point where we felt confident and competent. In six weeks we went from total beginners to pulling off and awesome swing dance at our wedding reception.

Everyone in the studio was great to work with. The instructors make you feel comfortable no matter your skill level or what you're trying to learn. They are incredibly friendly, which makes the atmosphere in the studio so much fun. Both the private lessons and the group classes are very helpful. There was also no up-selling, the instructors help you design a number of lessons that get you to where you want to be as quickly as possible.

We enjoyed our experience here so much that we've continued taking dance lessons after our wedding. I never though I'd find a new hobby in ballroom dancing, but the instructors and community at Arthur Murray have made it so much fun that I can't imagine not coming back!

We had a wonderful experience with our instructor Olivia. She took our concerns as newbies into consideration and was able to help us achieve exactly what we were looking for: natural, not stiff, not over-choreographed first wedding dance. She helped us give a basic structure to the dance and lots of helpful suggestions and tips/tricks. We even had enough time to squeeze in some mother/son and father/daughter lessons into our package as well. We enjoyed each lesson and her personality and professionalism put us at ease.
