What a joyful experience it was to “work” with Jenn.

From the beginning, she brought such a lighthearted energy to our dance lessons that we really enjoyed. She took us from zero dance experience to confidently stepping around our reception’s dance floor on our wedding day.

Not only was Jenn’s pricing reasonable, she really took the time to teach us the proper foundations of dance (it’s all about the frame!) in a way we could easily understand. Not only did we gain the moves, but also the confidence. Jenn’s teaching is unique in that she didn’t put together a choreographed dance for us- we learned how to freestyle and move around the floor with a lead and follow technique that we absolutely adored. This also took the stress off of us in having to memorize choreographed moves.

We truly enjoyed our dance lessons and not only did we KILL our first dance (everyone loved it and it was one of our favorite parts of the day!) but we now have the gift of being able to ballroom dance and being able to take what we learned and apply it to many other dances. Our whole experience was so fun and special.

Jenn is just the best! I searched far and wide for a dance coach for our wedding's first dance and so glad to have landed with Jenn. She is dedicated, kind, knowledgeable, and so funny. Her prices are very reasonable and you get much more than just a "dance lesson." She delves deep into body mechanics, rhythm, and teaches the why behind the what. She was able to teach my fiancé with no prior dancing experience and myself with minimal background.

I did not realize that even at forty my neck position was out of wack and I was slouching. She really helped to coach me out of that and has help with many other things along the way. It's not only fun, but the best investment I have made in my health. Normally I would like to support small business owners but this place lacked some very important values like professionalism, diversity, inclusiveness or kindness. My 4 year old daughter may have learned some basic ballet moves from this place but none of these values. What’s more, there were some bullies who thought they were better than others. It was sad to see the instructor ignored these types of things entirely. We will not be going back there and will not recommend to anyone who values decency.

I just saw the response from Annapolis Dance Academy. Hmm, I suppose you do not remember any Lees who took your classes. That's very unfortunate, and it says a lot.
