We really like the work of Ankeny School of Performing Arts Studio. My daughter has been taking piano lessons about 2 years and has developed well her musical skills. Other benefit we have noticed was the gain on skills to present herself in public enjoying the experience to be on the stage while having the recognition from the family and the community.

Both of our kids take lessons from Ankeny School of Performing Arts. They both have grown so much musically since starting there several years ago. Al has always been very flexible and accommodating to our schedule and our kids have had nothing but great things to say about their lessons! I highly recommend this school!

My experience with the Ankeny performing arts was disappointing. I reached out to Al Biela about violin lessons. Al was unresponsive and I had to follow up with him multiple times before he replied. Once I finally got a chance to discuss lessons with him, I was disappointed to learn there wasn’t any flexibility in the cadence of lessons. Al said I would be required to take weekly lessons. Due to time restrictions this was not possible for me so I replied to let him know. He said he would discuss it with the instructors and has not gotten back to me.

We've used Ankeny Music Studios for pre-piano, piano, guitar, and drum lessons for our 4 kids for the last several years. They provide excellent instruction that is tailored to the needs and learning style of each student.
