I went to school here at Alexander Academy and had the best experience right off the bat. Everyone from the director to the instructors were all very helpful throughout the whole time that i attended the school. Thank you for teaching me what was only a hobby to me and that has now became a career for me. Barbering was only a hobby because it was not my main focus but after i got into school and saw the beauty of it and get very hands on with it took a different toll in me it became a passion for me to learn more and actually love it. Now i am a fully licensed barber and ready to take my talent were ever it is that it takes me. Thank you Alexander Academy!

I went there today for a haircut. The student Nico was assigned to cut it, and did an truly excellent Job on it. If you're a Fitchburg State student make sure you bring your one card for a free barber haircut. Thank you again Nico for cutting my hair. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!

I've been here a few times. There's one teacher there who is really wonderful. They really do whatever is best for your hair. The teacher assists the students while they do your hair. I've had color services as well as keratin treatments and blowouts. The girls are learning so I haven't always gotten the best results. One time I got a foil and it was really pretty color, but they wouldn't take me as light as I wanted to go. I'm assuming it wasn't what was best for my hair and they didn't want to risk damaging it. That same time the girl did my blowout and I was very disappointed to say the least. My hair tends to frizz if the stylist isn't experienced, and my hair was, imo an afro. It was so frizzy and I had to go home and fix it myself because I couldn't just leave it the way it was. It's very affordable but if you're specific about how you like your hair I wouldn't recommend going here because they are not very experienced and you might be disappointed with the results.

I took my Son here today for the free back to school hair cut. Guess you should be careful what you get for free. I couldn't stay with my Son and they told me to wait in the waiting room. They took over 45 mins to cut his hair. He barely had any to begin with. When he finalky came out they barely spoke to me. My Son had hair all over his face, eyes and mouth and the back of his neck was cut several times .They couldn't even tell me they cut him and say sorry. My Son told me the guy cutting his hair barely spoke to him and was talking Spanish the whole time. He said he told him he was hurting him twice and the guy didn't say anything. Horrible place even if it was free

What a poor excuse for a school. I’m pretty sure the people at super cuts are more Qualified to teach. The owner Philyis of how ever you spell her name is the most disgusting human being on this planet. She does not care about anything but your money. Do not waist your time or money here go to a school that can actually teach you something. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my dog. You must be pretty terrible at hair if this is the only job you can get teaching at this poor excuse for a school.
