My daughter has been dancing here for over 4 years. She loves this studio and the dance community she has found with the other students and teachers. It is body positive, centered on developing each individual dancer, and thoughtful about doing so in safe ways. I've watched my daughter blossom into a beautiful dancer and a more confident young person through her participation in dance at Adagio.

The overall dance studio is nice. But whe it comes to finances no. My granddaughter was enrolled in there studio, and I decided to take a break. I give them $175 to hold her spot for two months but unfortunately do to trauma and death in my family she was unable to go back. So that's $175 I lose so then you said I owe another $175 for withdrawing her completely. I go into my account
and you took $175 I guess that's free money to them they was going to get money one way or another.

I enrolled my daughter into this program last year hoping to find something that would help keep her busy. Upon arriving I discovered that I found something even more special. For starters they offer the most reasonable price i have seen in Maryland The staff are very polite and the teachers clearly show a passion for what they do. Even went as far as making sure I understood all fees before i was charged. They are very easy to work with and definitely make you feel comfortable leaving your child in their care. Due to having a new edition to the family we unfortunately had to take some time away but we are EXTREMELY excited to be returning this week.

I am leaving this review to let others know who are considering this dance school know about my recent experience. Recently, my daughter participated in the winter recital but was unable to participate in the second performance due to another dancer taking her costume. Instead of the dance instructors stopping the show to confirm who did not bring their costume-they continued on with the show and my child did not participate in the second dance (which was paid for) due to another student taking her costume. I am even more disappointed in the lack of accountability and professionalism by the staff who decided to shift the blame on to a child for their mistake. Instead of being apologetic and trying to rectify the issue they blamed my 7 year old child who was visibly upset and crying for not "following directions" when the owner herself didn't follow the instructions she put in the recital packet. They literally made a 7 year old child feel like her not having the costume is her fault. The issue is Adagio decided not to distribute the costumes to the parents as they originally advised they would do. The staff decided to take on the responsibility and made a decision not to label the costumes which is something I as the parent would've done to eliminate this from happening.

The rehearsal packet indicated that those costumes should have been distributed on December 9th which would have allowed the parents to properly label the costumes and ensure the costumes were placed together in a garment bag. This situation could have been avoided by adhering to the dates placed in the recital packet.

To date--I still have not received any email detailing what actually happened to the costume. In fact they had the nerve to try to charge me for immediately withdrawing my child when in fact the Adagio's Director's response to a problem they created is why I chose to move on from this school. Not to mention- the reality is there are tons of inexpensive dance schools who provide a variety of class options, dates, and better pricing.

Our two year old has been taking dance classes for a month here and we love it! We appreciate how patient they have been helping her transition into the class routine. You can see the teachers’ passion for teaching and how much they care about the students.

Where do I start? Christina lives for what she does, the kids are trained in a professional environment. She makes each student feel special in their own way. She is timely, friendly, and kind to all those people who are blessed to experience her talent and gifts. Look no further she is the best in the DMV, if you don't believe do a drop in.

I personally enrolled my own child in classes at this studio when she turned 2. Prices
are very affordable. I love how the instructors are passionate about their craft. I love that each employee takes very good care of the students. My daughter loves all the fun activities planned each week. If you're looking for an affordable extra curricular activity, this is most certainly the place to be!

My daughter is approaching one year participating in various dance classes at this studio. She has grown significantly as a young person. This program not only teaches dance- it helps lay strong foundational life skills for the girls. They learn listen, engage with peers, follow instructions, develop a routine, be creative, etc. I highly recommend this studio!
