My daughter has danced at Kansas Ballet since they opened their doors. The directors are not only superb ballet instructors, they care for their students. They are continuously adapting to the needs of their current students. They also run a very professional business, which I’ve found rare in the arts community. I appreciate the consistency and the communication. They’ve navigated Covid amazingly well and found a way to keep their dancers engaged no matter what the current situation.

After seeing a couple negative reviews for Kansas Ballet Academy I wanted to add a positive review to let people know that KBA takes a lot of pride in teaching our children as well as taking any type of injury concern very seriously. My girls have been going here for years and they love it. There is nothing to be worried about if you are trying to make the decision of joining KBA. All of the instructors are professional, friendly and truly enjoy working with the dancers.

KBA is a great Ballet School, they truly care about all their dancers and help then to succeed in however the student wants. Rather it be just for fun, for scholarships, or even attempting to go professional Alex and Stephanie are always willing to help. My daughter has attended for several years now and just loves it. The KBA family cares for the students no matter what level and KBA brings a level of professionalism that not every dance school brings.

The Kansas Ballet Academy has been absolutely amazing for our DD’s growth and development. She has been with KBA for several years now and has had nothing but great praise for the Academy and her Instructional Staff. Ballet is the highlight of her day. The specialty classes and performances are some of the things that she looks forward to the most. In our experience, the Instructional Staff and the Academy Directors have been extremely supportive, caring, and professional in every aspect of our DD’s Ballet progress. They are the reason that she wishes to become a professional Ballet Performer. I have always highly recommended, and will always recommend KBA for anyone wishing to start or further their ballet experience. In my personal opinion, they are the absolute best and should be rated higher than the 5 Stars that Google allows.

My granddaughter has attended KBA since they opened. She is now a junior in high school so that's been quite a number of years. It has been a wonderful experience for her, and for our family. She has learned individual discipline as well as team work. Classical ballet is the foundation for other dance forms, which are available there as well. The artistic directors Stephanie and Alex are awesome! Not only do they know what they are doing, they are loving, caring professionals who have made a difference in the life of my granddaughter. KBA also offers through their non-profit, Kansas Ballet Company, the opportunity to participate in the annual Nutcracker performance and Regional Dance America, a nonprofit whose mission is elevating dance as an art form. It is worth every dollar we have spent through the years. At KBA there's a sign that says, "Ballet - like a sport only harder." It has been, and continues to be, a great blessing to my granddaughter and to all of us. This is ballet education at its best!

We have had a wonderful experience at Kansas Ballet Academy. My daughter has danced at KBA for several years. She enjoys all of her classes and we appreciate the professional teaching of classical ballet plus the nurturing environment provided by all the instructors. My young son also enjoys his classes at KBA. They’ve both loved the opportunities to dance in performances such as Kansas Ballet’s Nutcracker.
