Doug was amazing. We were visiting family for Thanksgiving and our Motorhome broke down. Nobody else in the area would even consider looking at it. Doug came out, even though it was a holiday and got us going enough to get the rig to his shop. Then he went through and fixed all the issues we were having so we could get it back home! Absolute lifesaver and a pleasure to work with!

I highly recommend these folks! I can't say enough about owners Doug and Cheri. They are truly awesome people with fabulous customer service! They are highly skilled, honest, caring and trustworthy. They went out of their way to put us the customer first. It's hard to find individuals with hearts like theirs with old fashioned service in this day of age. Doug and Cheri where "God sends" us in our time of need. We were traveling through and needed repair of our truck/ trailer. We were honored to have the pleasure to meet Doug and Cheri and to highly recommend their services for all of your truck repair needs.

I highly recommend Southwest Iowa Mobile Truck & Trailer Repair for all your towing and recovery needs. I have used this company several times in the past, and most recently called them when my vehicle slid into the ditch in 20 below 0 weather, 20 miles from home. Doug, the owner, asked if everyone was ok and had a ride home, out of the freezing weather. Doug and Anthony were very professional, they had to winch out my vehicle, and they brought it back to my driveway. They completed the job to my expectations. Thank you for your excellent service.

Broke my 4th axle on semi trailer when my co driver hit a fuel barrier.
Doug showed up in 50 minutes from a 57 mile drive, got us to his shop, order parts, pulled axle back in place, welded bracket, replaced hydraulic shot, air bag and rim. He also gave us a ride to a local hotel. He gave us a great price for the challenging task. You dont get just a mechanic with this guy, you get 32 years of overall experience and a mechanical engineer with it also. I know many bigger shops couldn't of pulled it off like he did. Outstanding service that was above expectation. I’ve used Doug on several occasions and even late at night on weekend he goes to work whenever I need him. I had him tow a very expensive late model Mercedes from another state back to me and did it right when I called him. If you need towing or mobile heavy repair, large or light truck repair in southwest Iowa he’s definitely your go to guy!

It was 2am and our truck stalled on Hwy 71 in IA. I tried to call two other companies and got hold of the main mechanic at South West Iowa Truck and Trailer Repair. He was awesome. He asked me if everybody was okay and said he would be on his way after he finished the job he was on. He arrived 30 minutes later and had my wife and I sit in his truck to stay warm while he repaired our truck. The bill was reasonable.

Very good serive. Both gentlemen were very knowledgeable and knew what they were doing. Called late one night next morning found the parts for my trailer had it done and fixed before noon! Would highly recommend. If I pass threw again I definitely would have them work on my truck and trailer again!
