Beth did both our engagement and wedding photos and she was the perfect mix of qualities you want in a photographer: professional, talented, creative, personable, funny, and experienced. I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am that we chose Jen to be our photographer for our wedding. I knew from the start that she had the experience and poise to handle large families and that her gorgeous photos would be something that I would treasure long after the day was over. Leading up to the day, she had such attention to detail that I had no doubt the small details that I had planned for my day would be captured. She was able to handle the curveballs that my wedding day inevitably threw at her and she was professional and wonderful to work with. I was worried that my husband and I might be awkward in front of the camera (not used to that kind of attention if I'm being honest) and Jen made us immediately feel comfortable and kept us giggling throughout the day and into the night.
It's important to have a photographer who you enjoy being around and Nick and I immediately knew we liked her and she was a joy to have as a part of our day. She had a smile on her face no matter what was happening, and worked so seamlessly with our videographer and other vendors. She brought a sense of calm and focus, and still made us feel special and comfortable.
Every time I see one of our wedding photos, it puts a smile on my face. She so perfectly captured the giddy energy I had and every time I see them, I feel it again. She captured the light so well, and there is nothing I would change about my photos today. She made the perfect wedding album, and I just get all the warm fuzzies every time I pull it out to look at it. Printed photos aren't as common anymore, but they are so unbelievably worth it, and so much time and effort was put in making it perfect, I couldn't be happier. I am so so *so* happy we put in the investment for our wedding photos, not only to make sure we were able to capture the whole day, but also so that we could have our beautiful album at the end of the day. Her time and attention to detail is truly unparalleled, and she was such a joy and blessing to have at our wedding day.
If you're on the fence, I get it, there's a lot of options out there, and it's a big investment. If I had to do it again, I would 100% choose Jen without hesitation. Every penny was so well worth it, and she put in so much time before our wedding day to make sure she understood what I wanted my wedding to look like so she could capture it that way; she was there the whole time, and she put in so much time to create our wonderful heirloom wedding album. Sincerely, you won’t regret working with Jen. She can charm a smile out of the hardiest of grandfathers, and capture the attention of the most wayward 2 year old, while still being one of the warmest, kindest souls. Seriously, she's a miracle worker. She wants to make sure she captures the vision you had of your wedding day so she can turn around and show it to you again a few weeks later. As someone who highly prioritizes photos in my personal life, she is a wonderful artist whose work I am proud to display in my home and share with family and friends. Not to mention, she's also just a great person who's down-to-earth and able to roll with the day if things aren't exactly going to plan. I got so many comments about how wonderful my photographer was at my wedding, and her photos very much capture that. We were so blessed to have her as a part of our day, and you won't regret having her as your photographer.
