This studio is a wonderful place to learn ballet. The environment is always so welcoming and the teachers are so invested in their students’ successes and each child’s personal wellbeing. Your child will be taken care of and taught all the lessons the art of ballet has to offer!

My daughter has been taking ballet at SBI for 6 years and we both have been so blessed by the way we have been treated personally as well as the quality of ballet training. As a mother, my most important concern is my daughter's emotional and spiritual health... and this has always been a priority at SBI. ALL of the teachers have been both kind and caring as well as top notch teachers of ballet. Lastly, the community of parents and caregivers has been amazing. Everyone is really nice and caring not only about their own children but other children as well. My daughter and I have made some great friends at SBI.

SBI is a great school for ballet. The instructors care about their students and provide a nurturing environment for all dancers . I would highly recommend them as they provide high quality instruction and get to know you on a personal level. Love our ballet family here.

SBI has provided my daughter an amazing ballet education that has led to summer intensive program opportunities at some of the top ballet companies in the country. It provides a positive, supportive environment for both the student and parents. I did not know anything about ballet when my daughter started. This is a serious sport! Ms. Kerri and Daniele offer so much support. Their instruction focuses on proper ballet technique that can translate into different styles. There are lots of performance opportunities for all levels as well as encouragement and support to participate in programs such as YAGP. Don’t underestimate SBI!

We love SBI! The staff are wonderful- good communication, excellent technical knowledge and skills, great with young children who need more “direction”. Would recommend to anyone who has a child interested in ballet.

Do NOT place your child in this production. The people that are on the board have zero empathy for children. It is ok to cut a child from production for any reason they see fit. You will have a lot of money, time and fundraising for their productions. They will cut a child last minute for anything. And their ethics are pretty low; they will erase negative reviews on social media and also have their board members send harassing messages. It is all about them and don’t expect them to have empathy at all for your child. Honestly, keep your child away from this production company. The entire board needs to have more mature and empathetic people.

We absolutely love The School of Ballet Indiana. The classes have been so much FUN for my daughter and she’s learned so much ballet technique as well. I feel like they actively promote positive body image and self esteem for their dancers. *both were the two worries I had when my daughter wanted to start taking ballet* We couldn’t be happier 🙂
