As a condition to moving into this area, we had to find a good school in which our two children could attend. We were intending to visit three Christian schools in the Wenatchee valley, the first on our agenda being The River Academy. We never set up meetings with the other two. This school was immediately impressive with a friendly reception, an informative introduction, a straight forward meeting with the head master, a tour of the more than adequate facility, and several conversations with an obviously very qualified teaching staff. We have become more and more pleased with this schools commitment to Truth, philosophy of education, love for our children, and humble community service. We pray God blesses The River Academy as they continue serving Him.

The decision about where to send our son to school had been, arguably, our most difficult parenting decision that we have had as parents so far. HOWEVER, once we made the decision to have our son attend The River Academy for the last several years, we have not looked back because it has been an immeasurable blessing to our family! He is surrounded by a staff and administration that has surpassed our expectations in helping him to not only meet expectations academically, socially, and spiritually, but has taught him how to excel as a student and friend. He has always needed a little extra encouragement to try his best and put effort into his work, and at The River Academy he is pushed beyond his normal comfort zone, in order to grow in a loving and safe environment. We realize that, during their school careers, our children will spend a great deal of time around their teachers and school friends, away from our home and influence, and we don’t want to take that lightly. We are comforted in knowing that, while our son is at school, he is immersed in biblical teaching, surrounded by godly examples, taught from a biblical worldview, and influenced by people who love the Lord and endeavor to live for Him. We are confident that The River Academy is a great place for him to be, and we are excited to have our daughter attend in the fall this year also!

Our family has had a wonderful experience here. When my child was struggling significantly with math, I felt so supported by his teacher who taught me how she was introducing material so I could easily practice with him. The quality of education here is so very good and the hearts of the people are genuine. So grateful for this awesome school in our valley!
