Someone who is personable knowledgeable reasonably priced and HONEST! First time client and will commute from Des Moines EVERY TIME to give them my business when I’m in the area! Beats the cost and time frame of every mechanic in a 50 mile radius a loaner vehicle was given during service to prevent time from work. Can’t express the sense of appreciation I have for the service I was provided the entire staff was completely hospitable. Will return and recommend!

I cannot praise Leonard's enough for their outstanding service and dedication to helping us with our vehicle issues. They went above and beyond in diagnosing the problem, collaborating with the dealer, and providing valuable advice, even though they were not the ones who would be fixing it.

Leonard is a great guy, always greets you with a smile on his face. As far as service goes, he is quite knowledgeable, and never takes shortcuts. I have never had to take my car back to fix something he has done.

Needed the serpentine and power steering belts replaced. It took a few days to finally get the car in their shop, due to the high amount of work they were going thru.

Had to used their parts (which are backed by their warranty), which was fine at the time - until a week and a half later the serpentine belt was discovered to be close to snapping. Gave these guys a call so they could replace their part (free replacement) - turns out they don't have a towing service, nor mentioned contracting that out. Having a warranty on your parts (and required to use theirs), especially ones that are critical to getting your vehicle to move is rather meaningless if said part breaks down and prevents you from getting your vehicle to them to be replaced!

Took it to my local mechanic to have a look - a/c compressor pulley that the serpentine belt ran thru wasn't moving. Natural friction took care of that belt - something that could've been picked up by the Leonard mechanics. Got my local mechanic to take care of it.

Shortly after, the power steering belt started fraying - this belt was suggested by the Leonard guys to be replaced at the same time as the serpentine belt, which I agreed to.

I decided not to give Leonard a call about this one.

Probably the only reason they don't get one star is the fact they were polite and courteous.

tldr;
If they're busy, don't bother - belt replacement jobs seem to get rushed (which I've been told is a fairly basic mechanic job), so who knows what would happen on more complex jobs. Good luck finding them not busy for that matter.

I was told my Dodge Intrepid was "repaired," and after paying $1500.00, I MADE IT ONE MILE BEFORE THE BLOCK BLEW.? Refused refund, because it was "driver error".
