My daughter is wrapping up her first year of dancing at The Pointe. She has been taking classes with Miss Demetra and absolutely loves it. Demetra is so kind and encouraging. My daughter's dancing skills have improved greatly under Miss Demetra's teaching. Demetra is also very responsive to parent questions or concerns. I also appreciate that the studio offers a few homeschool classes. We have been able to take advantage of them this year and will again next year as well. If you haven't found a place to dance in Cedar Rapids, I highly recommend looking into The Pointe School of Dance!

My daughter has been dancing for a year now and she started loving it as the time progressed. The Welcoming atmosphere and watching the strenuous practice kids undertake as we wait in the lobby is wonderful to witness! I appreciate that we can compensate missed classes. The reminders and updates with detailed instructions are helpful to prepare the kid for rehearsals and other scheduled events. Overall if your kid loves to dance this is a great place to begin with and I hope the coming years would open new possibilities and learning experience for the kids to blossom!

My daughter enjoys dancing at The Pointe! She has had a couple wonderful teachers (Miss Claire and Miss Christine), as well as teaching assistants, to help her learn how to dance and love doing it! The teachers/staff are always friendly and are able to match the high energy of their dance students!

We absolutely love The Pointe - My daughter has been attending the classes for almost 2 years now and she loves being a part of Ms. Katie Terrell's class. My daughter really enjoys the fun, warm environment that Ms. Katie brings in.
She eagerly looks forward to her classes and has so much fun while also learning.
This year she started working with Ms. Kalli and just enjoys it.
Thanks to Ms. Katie and Ms. Kalli for making my daughter's dance experience so fun and enriching 🙂

Mrs. Kara is amazing! She is fun and caring, my daughter enjoys having her as her teacher for hip-hop 1/2.
Miss Katie who's been at the desk on Monday nights is amazing as well she's always so bubbly and welcoming as you come in. She puts a smile on everyone's face! We LOVE The Pointe School of Dance and all of the staff!

Before finding The Pointe, I was not aware that any studios offered classes for adults with no experience. I joined adult ballet this year as a beginner, and Ms. Demetra has done a wonderful job leading our group and giving multiple options/modifications for all levels. She has choreographed a stunning dance routine, and I am excited to get to be a part of the upcoming recital!

Our kiddo loves The Pointe! Her Hip Hop teacher, Ms Kara, is so kind and patient with our kid (who struggles with transitions and gets nervous about new things), while also helping her develop her skills and grow as a dancer. The teacher helpers (older dancers) are also always amazingly kind and helpful!
