What a great experience, I’ve been buying cars for over 20 yrs and this was the top rated experiences from start to finish! The team at Brad Deery was helpful in the best ways possible! Just had a buying experience with Brad Deery Ford in Maquoketa. If you find a car you want here, don't expect them to negotiate in good faith.

I had a verbal deal and had them give me the information that I needed to provide my bank with. My bank set up the loan and amount at the lowest rate in the area and cut the check.

When I showed up to give them the check, things that we had agreed upon the day before were not calculated into what I was given to give to my bank so the total amount didn't line up.

So now I have a vehicle without the extended warranty. I asked for them to give me a deal on a new set of tires and they refused. They said they would allow me to take the car back to them but wouldn't do any good faith negotiations.

If you hear "I didn't set up that part of the deal..." know that this is normal and they don't communicate with each other. You need to verify every part of the deal before you buy.

Perhaps it is different if you finance through them but if you are using your own bank, verify every detail prior to talking to the bank!
