We have been working with Mike, and the staff from Alum-Line to make a custom trailer for aircraft engine testing. In the early stages we, were able to tour their facility, and determine the full capabilities of their staff, and the extent we could customize the trailer for our unique application.

Haven taken delivery, we appreciated the personalized attention to detail for our requirements. I can highly recommend Alum-Line to those considering a custom trailer.

Great overall experience on designing, ordering, pick up and post pick up help.

Mike Hanson helped us get the Dual Line Trailer (removable top) so that we could use it for horses/livestock hauler (with the top) and as a hay/car hauler (without the top/flat bed). We designed it a little taller (for the horses) and added the longer car ramps (stored under the trailer) to allow our low profile vehicles as well as a removable rock guard.

We've used it as a hauler loaded with furniture on a 1500 mile (each way) delivery and for hauling 4 large bales of hay locally. Next month, we'll use it to pick up two heifer calves about 550 miles away (each way).

Attached are photos with and without to top on.

I shopped around for a while looking for the perfect dog box to fit my very specific needs. I called and spoke with Austin and felt that this was the company to work with. He helped me pick exactly what I wanted for all of the details of this box. Scheduled and delivered on time and the delivery driver was even willing to work around my schedule. The box is perfect! everything I asked for was done exactly as I had asked for it. It doesn't look like I will be in the market for a new one any time soon but when I decide to get a new one it will definitely come from them!! Thank you Austin and Heather for all of your help!

I have purchased two flat beds, two dog boxes with storage and two storage boxes from Alumline. The quality of construction is unmatched, the after purchase service is outstanding and Austin McAllister does a great job of coordinating the custom build. Everything is delivered on time with price transparency and outstanding communication through out the process.

I would like to thank Gary and everyone at Alum-Line for the smooth process and great install. As I was not able to make the finial install my girlfriend drove the tuck to them. They were very accommodating to her doing the entire process. As this was a custom build for an overland camper, Gary was very helpful in the design process. I recommend Alum-Line for anything you may need for your build. Thanks again to Gary and his entire staff!

I ordered a custom aluminum box to go on my 2018 Freightliner. I was told the box would be completed in about 4 to 6 weeks, and they had it finished in about 4 weeks. The build quality was impeccable and the installation went very smooth and took less than an hour. The prices were more than fair and the entire staff was professional and courteous. If you need a custom built box call and ask for Austen. He is very knowledgeable and easy to work with.

Purchased a trailer shell to upfit for a mobile classroom for a customer of ours. First salesmen that took the order ended up leaving and tossed it to another that had no clue on what we had discussed. A few weeks to delivery and they call saying they can’t get the doors that were discussed. I agreed on the ones they suggested, round top instead of square. First mistake. I asked for blueprints so I could get my material list together and layout all the equipment we were going to install. They told me the bar napkin sketch they gave me originally was all they do. Second mistake. I call the week before scheduled delivery, trailer wasn’t even started and had no idea of when it would begin production. Third mistake. Trailer finally gets finished, 3 weeks beyond schedule of an already 8 month schedule. Hotshot picks up and delivers. First off, rivets…. Rivets EVERYWHERE. Was supposed to be a screw less exterior. Fourth mistake. The gooseneck framing and perimeter framing is steel…. 100% aluminum construction is what I was told. Fifth mistake. On top of the steel gooseneck, the structure of the gooseneck is not tied into the riser… MAJOR STRUCTURAL ISSUES WITH THAT. Sixth mistake. Hitch height was 10” too low. Seventh mistake. It looks like they gave a 4 year old a spool gun and said “go weld this” not one weld in the entire trailer is acceptable in my eyes. Eighth mistake. NONE of the stud or truss centers were hit. Ninth mistake. Gave me 4 keys for a trailer that had 7 doors and all were keyed different. Tenth mistake. Roof is sealed with tape. Eleventh mistake. Gas shocks on doors are way overkill that I could hang on the door and it still won’t close. Twelfth mistake. Welders left a loose I-beam weld clamped to the underside of the trailer. Thirteenth mistake. I’m sure I’m missing some stuff but that brings us to final delivery day with my customer. I do a walk around and show them all the equipment and how to run it. They hook up and leave. 1 hour, yes 1 HOUR, 76 miles after they leave I get call saying they lost a tire and only two lug nuts per tire left was finger tight. The rest were gone. Along with the tire. Trailer has approximately 325 miles on it. The factory neglected to torque the nuts upon final Inspection. So now I get to drive an hour away to fix yet ANOTHER problem caused by this horrendous trailer company. Not ONE thing about this trailer or company is nice. I HIGHLY recommend you look elsewhere and not give these guys a cent or second of time. This is the worst experience I e ever had with a trailer and I’ve dealt with more then I want to. Will be talking to sales tomorrow for a remedy. But the owner is more then welcome to contact me direct to reimburse for ALL the issues, extra material and time we spent FIXING THEIR mistakes and poor workmanship.

Buyer beware. Long story short-The poor weld quality and lack of attention to detail is highly concerning. The U-bolts securing my flatbed were barely fastened and in the wrong location. One of the U-bolts has nearly ruined my passenger side leaf spring. You can see the weld and cut quality and sloppiness in the picture below- I will be reaching out to their business or the BBB to figure this out. Unacceptable.
