Took my daughter’s car back to them because they forgot to install a caliper bolt. They fixed the missing bolt. As I drove away down the street, the tire came off the car and ripped quarter panel off the car. Livid. They gave me a car to drive.

I was out of town and was stranded after an engine failure and needed to get towed somewhere. I called them and they were unable to get my car fixed for another week because they were booked so far out. The owner (I believe) recommended another place that could get me in sooner. He then called back to make
Sure I was able to get in somewhere and a ride back to South Bend.

I didn’t get any work done with their company, but they seem like amazing people and I’m sure have great service. I would recommend them just based off of the care he took in calling me.

They always keep things simple. Do what you ask them to do. They follow by the good ol model of. "If it ain't broke don't fix it! " I've got two vehicles that are years 2007 , 2008 models. They've got both of my vehicles up in running at darn near peak performance. Nothing tops a reliable, affordable, honest mechanic shop. Thanks Scott and the rest of the gang! We appreciate you guys! We were in town visiting relatives, 700 miles from home, when the van decided that now was a good time to have mechanical problems. Because of the holidays, we had some trouble finding a place that would take us before we planned to head home. Fortunately, these guys agreed to work us in. Although it took slightly longer than I was hoping, I appreciate that they took the time to correctly identify the problem and fix it. I’d much rather they did that than rush through things. And indeed, their repair work was first rate. The van ran great going home, making for a relaxing trip. And while I know that the cost of living in Columbia City is much lower than my own city, I was still surprised at how little the repair cost. I was honestly expecting to pay as much as twice what I was billed. I recommend Automotive MD without reservation. They do good work for a good price and were nothing but pleasant and helpful throughout. Although I hope to never see them again, I’m glad to know that they’re there in case something similar happens in the future.

I have a 2003 Chevy express work van that had some intermittent issues when starting or idling. I had another shop in Fort Wayne try to fix it but the issue continued. I was referred to Auto MD and it was well worth the short drive to Columbia city. Scott was able to accommodate my schedule and they were able to find the source of the issue and fix it at a reasonable cost. Thank you so much!
