Gronde did our wedding photos. The short of it is that I do not feel like we got what we paid for. We paid somewhere between a premium and midrange price and we got less than that.

We paid thousands for photography and the generation of a picture book, a flash drive with our photos, and thank you cards. The picture book was nice. The thank you cards came several months late which was embarrassing. The flash drive had the photos on it but seemed to be formatted in a way that we can never have any photos printed by anyone other than Gronde at exorbitant prices and obscene turnaround times. The complementary engagement photo session I felt was misleading as it did not include any photos or anything it was just the taking of the photos which was complementary. While I understand it is work to take and process the photos, they have no value to me unless I get to keep some of them, but I had to pay for them, which is by definition not complementary.

During the wedding myself and the groomsmen had a positive experience with Chris. However, I was very unhappy with what I heard about what my bride had to put up with. My wife and the bridesmaids made some reasonable requests for certain photos at which the female photographer hemmed and hawed (borderline indignant). Not really what I expected for what we paid.

I have 3 boys and the older two were photographed by my very brilliant sisters. Brady’s pictures were, unfortunately, a source of contention. By the time I found anything that struck me (Brandy and Chris’ photos of one of Brady’s classmates), he was a freshman at Purdue. I didn’t think it was possible to have the real Brady come through in their pictures. Thank you so much for capturing my BradyBug. ?
