Took my 2014 charger to have the front bumper and fender painted and put on. Got it back and they didn’t blend it at all into the older paint and told me it wasn’t included in the overall price. This is something that should’ve been clearly stated in the initial estimate because most, if not all body shops automatically include blending your new parts in an estimate. They tried to make me pay another $500 to have the work done when it was their error. Handled poorly. I will not return.

This place is amazing! Took my car in to get body work done. They said it would take about a week, only took them 5 days and it was ready. The car looks amazing, as good as it did when I bought it. Hopefully I never need bodywork done again, but if I do, Thompsons will be the place I go to!

This place used to be a great place to take your vehicle quality of work, thoroughness of work and diagnostics, and customer service was the best around, but recently customer service has tanked, they pride themselves as “service after the original service is done” that sets them apart from other body shops, however recently even this is not true. Chris the owner used to actually do a fine job running the business and taking care of the customers as if they were his own vehicles (actual statement I was told by him about 2 vehicles ago when I had them do that work). However Chris is hardly ever able to be caught as he’s always out and taken the day off, which leaves the business operations up to the front office which has proven multiple times that there is not a clue as to what is going on. When you ask where the ball is dropped, it’s a blame game and I didn’t know. (Happened atleast 2 times for this vehicle). One person is not there and they were left holding the rein......and no one is talking to each other.....Customers vehicles arrive and they are just now figuring out that parts should have been ordered and weren’t.....issues after the body work was done and after a month of trying to work with them, they say they can’t find anything wrong with it......this equates to several days of a customer being without their vehicle......even when they are finished with the car, you have to stay on top of it or else it will sit in their lot all day after they can’t do anything with it or are finished with it. I had to take it somewhere else to find another over $2000 worth of work that was part of the problem I was complaining about the 1st hour after pickup from a completed repair.

Their body work is second to none......everything else, has went down hill exponentially. Especially now that Chris isn’t manning the ship fully.

I would not wish my experience on anyone. I’ve had 5 vehicles worked on over the last 10 years here without even questioning where I would send my vehicles. And unfortunately would not take another vehicle here.

Hopefully they see this and can make some better decisions when dealing with their loyal customers and maybe get control of their business again, but for this instance and any time in the future I will not go back to them unless forced to due to warranty repair that HAS to HAPPEN. It’s really a shame, their body work is second to none, the rest of the headaches is not worth the best body work.

I hit a deer and messed the front end of my car up pretty bad. I took it to Thomson’s and they had the car done in a week, the paint was perfectly matched and blended and the car looks better than when I bought it! They even fixed a small dent unrelated to the accident without me asking and didn’t charge me for it. The attention to detail was outstanding! I won’t take my vehicles anywhere else!
