We are locals and we volunteer at the playhouse as ushers and in the bar regularly. This place is such a gem in the middle of Brown County! They have a huge variety of musical acts and community theater an intimate 400 seat space. There isn't a bad seat in the house! Lots of musical and comedy acts - Heywood Banks and Garrison Keillor as well as Henry Lee Summer, and lots of tribute bands ( think Journey, Buffet, Abba) that are really really good. It is usually open seating so choose your spot and the bar is fabulous ?. The bartender has specially themed drinks that match the performance a full bar, local beer and wine, and hot popcorn. This is a non-profit organization and the community theater performances are amazing! Right now is Legend of Sleepy Hollow and it's a Christmas Story in December of 23. They sometimes show recent or themed movies for a very low price. I recommend visitors always check out what's playing while you're in BC. Advance tickets available or same day at the box office and very reasonable prices.

Our 1st time, All seats have good view. Very clean! The venue we attended was very good. Ticket prices great. Easy free parking, easy in & out. All attendants friendly & knowledgeable. Nice bar. Clean bathrooms. Will go again.

My husband and our friends went to the BC Playhouse Saturday night! We were the opening act for Rich Hardesty!!! Great atmosphere!
Great music and so entertaining!!
Will definitely recommend Brown County Playhouse in Nashille Indiana!!! Great job and a wonderful night! ⭐️
