Wow! The performances of Celia's students at the Marigold were outstanding! The variety of styles, the quality of the voices, the back up band, and the cool venue all combined to make a very enjoyable and entertaining evening.

I have been fortunate to have had a chance to take a few lessons with Celia in the past. Listening to her students perform made me want to return to study with her again.

She's an extraordinary teacher who clearly knows how to bring out the best in her students.

Celia is an incredible voice coach with an awesome studio space and biannual performances that she puts together with a full backing band! I started lessons for a fun hobby to try and it's been one of the best things I've decided to do. She knows how to work with you to make you comfortable and give you space to try out music you like, find a sound that works, and really dial in the finer points of your voice. Can't recommend enough, stop reading this and message her already.

Celia is Amazing!!! I’ve always loved to sing but believed it just wasn’t in me. I’d always dreamed of singing a song on stage. Karaoke always left me feeling just a little bit embarrassed! For my 60th birthday, I decided I wanted to fufill that dream and at least learn how to carry a tune if I could. I worked with Celia for a few months and sure enough I was able to make that dream come true. Or should I say Celia was able to. She is so great to work with and immediately puts you at ease. Most importantly she never once cringed as I squeaked out off key notes in the beginning. lol!
I highly recommend her. She is well worth the cost and comparable if not a little better than most that I researched.
If you’re thinking of doing this, but are intimidated - Look no further! Honestly I can’t say it enough how wonderful my experience was!

If I could give Celia more stars I would! Not only is she fun, interesting and patient she I also an amazing teacher. She is really good at pinpointing what I need to improve and drilling with different exercises until I get it. She is also very fair and will tell me what I’m doing well. She has a methodical approach but she is also fun and goes with the flow. I highly recommend her!!!!

Celia saved my kid's life, as it were, when he started lessons his entire demeanor and view of life changed with his discovery that he was a great singer. It was her incredible patience that turned my son from a stage-fright mess to a rock'n'roller!!!

I’m really enjoying my lessons with Celia. I’ve always loved singing, but not had any training - at least since 7th grade choir! I didn’t really know what could be improved, but the description of her approach on her website was so logical and encouraging that I was hopeful. Celia immediately identified the places I knew my voice broke & helped me understand why - what was going on with the vocal chords - and has been working with my voice, adjusting lesson by lesson, with techniques that are working, and also fun. I have very little experience singing in front of people, but Celia put me at ease; there’s lots of laughing during lessons. She’s fun to sing with - she looks up songs I like & can accompany on the piano & guide my voice easily, even songs she’s not familiar with. Also - I have a voice box/larynx injury & she has training that has enabled her to address that directly with techniques that are actually therapeutic. Highly recommend!

Celia is a wonderful teacher who takes the time to know and understand her students, works with us as individuals, and prepares us for whatever our singing goals may be. If you take lessons with Celia, you will surely learn a lot, grow your voice by leaps and bounds, and have fun while doing it!

Celia is a fantastic voice teacher! I took singing lessons from her for 5 months and saw a big change. She really cares about helping you improve. She also organized cafe nights where you can perform with a backing band and get real experience in front of an audience if you want. I don’t know of any other voice teacher that does that. Give her a try.
