We could not be more satisfied with Ivy Music Academy. Our son has been taking piano lessons there for the last 6 years. They are kind, willing to work with us, flexible and are so great at supporting our son and his passion for music (even when he was 7 years old and didn’t want to practice). If you are looking for your child to take any kind of music lessons, look no further.

Ivy music teachers and staff are dedicated. They provide individualized attention and nurture the strengths and interests of their students. Mathew has shown patience, guidance, and expertise with my daughter. She has learned so much and has progressed into a lover of music and a lover of learning!
Mathew is exceptional at what he does for young kids to grow their love of music while having fun and holds students to high expectations. This is a challenging feat and not for the faint of heart. The whole Ivy staff and Mathew emit passion and excitement that can be seen shining through the students. I have seen this change in my daughter. She loves coming to Ivy music school and practices on her own without me asking!
We appreciate everything you have done for us with your welcoming atmosphere and flexibility. I cannot recommend Mathew and Ivy Music enough!

Nothing but good things to say about the Ivy Music Academy! My son is a student there and always leaves happy. He's getting more confident with music and we have Ivy Music Academy to thank! His teacher is great and finds music that he gets excited about, which motivates him to want to play more, without us having to constantly remind him (or no more than a typical 9 yr old)!

We love Ivy Music! This is my daughter's second year playing the piano there. She has excelled so much and is always excited about her lessons. Her teacher Justin Cahoon is a great musician and instructor who nurtures the love of music and develops skill and confidence in the student. Ivy Music has been an amazing experience for us! I highly recommend Ivy Music Academy. Over the years, my daughter has taken violin, piano and voice lessons there. All of her instructors have been wonderful and knew how to engage a young child in music. My daughter always loved her lessons, but we struggled to get her to practice at home. Her instructors were supportive and encouraging, and there was no judgment when she wanted to try a different instrument, or take a break from lessons. We were always welcomed back when she was ready to try something new. We are in our 2nd year of voice lessons with Katelyn, and my daughter is really enjoying them. And I can't say enough about Vaska- she is so responsive and helpful with any questions or scheduling issues that come up.

It has been impressive to watch Ivy Music Academy grow over the years. I wish them much continued success!

We love Ivy music. We have two children taking lessons there. Our 11 year old has been taking voice lessons there for almost a year and has learned a lot on how to improve her range and sing different types of music. I love that her teacher Katelyn picks music that she loves, and also introduces her to pieces she would not pick in her own, that teach her. Our 9 year old is taking piano from Ostin and he is the perfect fit for her. Her personality is hesitant to trust and try new things, but he meets her where she is at and picks music she is interested in to keep her motivated. She had a good ear for music and memorizes quickly, but he had ideas on teaching her to read music, which is making her a better musician. She came up to me a couple weeks ago with a hug and thank you for piano lessons. We have loved the flexibility and communication with the music school. Overall we couldn’t be happier.

We love Ivy Music! We have done piano, cello and viola lessons. The teachers are very experienced and really help the students progress. Vaska is fantastic to work with and makes scheduling easy.

Ivy Music Academy is more than just a music school. Vaska has made sure that it has the most welcoming feeling er've ever experienced. My Son and I are playing Guitar in the school and I have two of my sons also playing Piano. Even during COVID they made sure we'd have the best possible experience and my children have demonstrated great growth in their skills.

Apart from all the amazing things i can say about the school, i'd like to give a special recognition to Baris (my sons Piano Teacher).
Baris is, in my opinion, the best teacher we ever had for *any instrument*.
Apart from his obvious amazing knowledge and musical skills he has been giving us the confidence that he has:
1. A clear progression plan for each child.
2. He is super patient and supportive.
3. He is not only a great musician, but a great teacher (as I'm sure you know, not every great musician is necessarily a good teacher).
4. He has solid control over every lesson content and his time management is superb.
5. He makes sure the homework is communicated clearly and follows up on them in every lesson.
Both my sons really enjoy having him as a teacher and demonstrates a joy in music that I have not seen with any other teacher.
