I am currently training at GUS with the College Pro Program!! GUS has been nothing but amazing and so rewarding!! I have learned so many incredible skills for my future in the industry and to better myself as a dancer!! Know one does jazz like GUS and I have fallen in love with jazz even more in these three weeks!! I cannot wait to utilize all these skills for my career and bring it with me when I go back to college!! I am so grateful for the kind environment and all the dancers and faculty I have gotten to make connections with!! GUS has my heart forever!!

Gus Giordano Dance School is fantastic! The teachers are super talented and friendly. They offer lots of different dance styles and the classes are great for all levels. The facilities are awesome, and there's a real sense of community. I've improved so much since joining. Highly recommend!!

I attended the College/Pro Intensive in 2024, and I loved it so much!! I made so many new friends and took a ton of amazing classes from amazing teachers. Three weeks is a perfect amount of time to learn about all things dance and all things Giordano, without getting burnt out by the end. It’s an amazing program that I highly recommend to anyone who wants to further their dance education and career.

I attended GUS’s Jazz Intensive last summer and had the best time- I immediately knew I wanted to come back for their College/Pro Intensive this year. The faculty and dancers in this community are so supportive and inspiring- I’m able to learn so much here while making personal connections with so many dancers, teachers, and choreographers! Coming to GUS has been one of the best decisions I’ve made:)

Throughout my time at Gus I have been able to learn not just about myself as a dancer, but also as a person. This program is one of the best I have ever had the pleasure to be apart of. The instructors teach all their students about proper technique, core strength, discipline, and how to be a good person in your everyday life. I partook in the College/Pro intensive because it is one of the most well-rounded programs available. I was looking for something with a jazz focus, where I could still train in the styles of hip-hop, tap, and musical theatre. This 3-week program offers so many styles: ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap, contemporary, musical theatre, jazz funk, leaps and turns, and the Giordano technique!! Not only was my endurance and technique furthered, but I learned from master professors and made great connections with my fellow dancers. These are people I can learn from, and friendships that will last far outside of this program!

Studying at GUS for their college/pro intensive was one of the best experiences of my life! Not only did I learn so much, but I made friends for life! Getting to dance all day with incredible faculty and incredible dancers is such a rewarding learning experience. You are connected with people with real experience from the industry. I loved getting well rounded classes in Ballet, Hip Hop, Tap, Contemporary, and all styles of Jazz! There are also so many opportunities to perform at the end of the intensive! We got to be in so many incredible works! The staff works so hard to make everyone feel welcome and to make sure everyone is staying healthy and happy, and as Amy Giordano told us on our first day, everything in moderation! So we spent our days off exploring the city and experiencing Chicago, which was so fun! The staff is super great with helping us learn how to get around the city and giving us recommendations on the bast places to go eat or visit. They also provided us with the opportunity to do a headshot and dance photo session at an extremely discounted price to prepare you to go into the professional world! All in all it was such a great experience and I can’t wait until I am able to come back!
