After suffering a back injury and several traumatic events, the friendly, caring staff created a safe place for me to attempt first-time dance lessons! My main instructor, Gavin, was beyond patient and so very affirming, and every other staff was the same! For several months they all cheered me on until I could finally dance basic steps at my daughter’s wedding last week!!
This is the place to go if you need a safe place to have fun as you heal from life’s storm! Even my personal counselor recommended the lessons to continue because of the therapeutic impact that she had observed!

We had a wonderful intro lesson. There was no pressure to sign up but we did because we saw the benefits in our marriage that dancing can bring. We want to learn to really dance and enjoy it. We were nervous at first but every person we interacted with, genuinely made us feel important and special. We're so glad we're investing in ourselves!

UPDATE: We couldn't be happier that we are taking classes. We look forward to our individual and group classes as well as the weekend extras. All the instructors are AMAZING and our guy, Gavin, is so encouraging and supportive not only with our dancing but us as people. You can tell he really cares and is genuine!

UPDATE #2. Every single one of the instructors is amazing! We've learned so much and have had a lot of fun being exposed to different dance styles. Seven months later and we're enjoying it more and more!

I don't usually write reviews, but we've had the best time at Arthur Murray Carmel. We started with wedding choreography but have continued to take lessons and classes because we have so much fun. The staff is friendly, kind, and they run the studio like a well-oiled machine. Coming from someone with zero previous dance experience, I highly recommend!

Every teacher we've worked with is phenomenal (shout out to Suzi, Mike, Katie, Gavin, Justis, Cameron, Ella, and Kate), and while they cater to you in your personal way, they are all well-rounded and offer so many perspectives to enhance your learning. We started just doing it for fun, but we ended up competing and winning in a competition...we could not have done that without these lovely people.
