Such a cool find! Happened upon this ceramic studio/shop and loved it! This place features several local Dallas artists and their work. There were a variety of pieces showcasing many styles and great craftmanship. Loved the earthen tones. Come and support local artists! Check out the planters!

I’ve been to Stephen Salter pottery multiple times and each instance has been wonderful. The aesthetics of the shop are extremely calming and sometimes you can even walk in to see Stephen making pottery live! Each piece is beautifully designed and handcrafted, and all are very high quality. As a coffee addict, I bought a beautiful mug for myself and have purchased some of his other items as gifts for family and friends. Each piece drew a big reaction. Would highly recommend stopping by his studio and bringing home a piece of your own!

Have you ever walked a into a store and just known that it was going to be one you returned to day time and time again?

This was my experience visiting Salter pottery for the first time. The aesthetic of the store is very eye pleasing, the craftsmanship quality is also top shelf.

I had the pleasure of having a pottery wheel class with Stephen and walked away with a huge smile on my face, two beautiful pieces, and feeling so encouraged to continue creating ceramic pieces.

Grateful to have come across this beautiful shop and highly recommend for both locals and visitors to stop by to support and to have a great conversation.

This is my ABSOLUTELY FAVORITE place to shop for pottery. I almost always recommend my friends and family to stop by when they are in Bishop Arts. Stephen, the owner, also taught me pottery!! He has 1:1 classes and other workshops where you can learn with friends or as a couple. 20/10. Will always visit when I'm there.

Incredible potter, kind people and the ambience of the store makes you feel right at home. I have several salter pottery pieces in my home and will say I exclusively reach for his mugs in the morning for my morning coffee.
