My son has been going to jujitsu classes with Coach Frankie for a year now, and he absolutely loves it. Not only is he building his strength, coordination, and confidence, he's also building lasting friendships. The center is spotlessly clean, and the coaches are friendly and know how to challenge the kids to push themselves. I can't say enough good things about this place. Highly recommended!

I started practicing Jiu jitsu 4 months ago, at Daniel Gracie Academy in Northborough. I'm a 50 years old guy. My children started doing with me too. A 24, 13 and a 10 years old. As well as my brother and nephew. Since the beginning, we felt very welcome by all the members. We all enjoy it so much the hard trainning, the camarade between white and color belts and last but not least, the leadership of Professor Frankie Passos, always willing to share his knowlodge with all of his students. A great place to learn this gentle art called Jiu-Jitsu.

I was looking for a positive place for my 9 year old to learn jujitsu. I was lucky enough to meet Frankie and his team. Now both my son and I are training and we love it! My 9 years old daughter has been training at Daniel’s Academy in Northborough for 3 years. This academy has a great kids program Frankie”s knowledge and love for the martial arts makes the kids learn the way is fun and respectful at the same time.
I myself trained at Daniel’s Gracie for a year and for personal reasons I had to stop but I will return as soon as I can. Ladies who would love to learn Jiu Jitsu but feel intimidated… Don't be shy! Families train together at Frankie’s academy, also the ladies there are very supportive . The positive atmosphere at Daniel’s Gracie Academy is wonderful. If you are looking for a clean, respectful Jiu Jitsu Academy this is the place!

DGA isn’t just a martial arts school it’s a community of people that care about each other. Professor Frankie is one of the most genuine people ever who is always joking around, but when it’s time to learn it’s time to learn. Professor Frankie challenges you every week to do better than the week before. His team of black and brown belts are great too.

DGA is a great academy! My son has been going for a while and it has only been good for him. Frankie and his team are great with kids and really put time and care in how they teach.
I started going to the adult classes and really enjoy it. The community is great and the teaching is top notch.

Professor Frankie creates an environment of respect and comradeship; it’s a big family.
I like the fact that since they one we can roll and try to apply what we learn in the class. All the higher belts are always willing to help us improve.

I was one of Frankie's first students when he started teaching as a Purple belt. One thing I've noticed is there are people who are skilled and people who can teach but very rarely can someone do both. Frankie is one of those instructors. On top of that his positive attitude and sense of humor makes everyone on the mat feel welcome. My stamina has increased, my technique allows me to handle teammates much larger than me, and this also provides a nice stress release after a long work day. Keep up the great work.
