I've been training at Dedeco Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Pembroke for the past three years. At 44 years old I decided to try a free trial class and never looked back. Training at Dedeco's school offers manifold benefits including: community, camaraderie, self-defense, self-confidence, and physical / mental health all while learning the beautiful art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The instructors are true professionals and always prioritize safety. Dedeco Jiu-Jitsu really is for everyone. You don't have to be in great shape to start, but you are guaranteed to get in shape through training. Dedeco has students from all over the spectrum of life: from world champions to retirees to active law enforcement to young kids and everyone in between. The hardest part of the journey for me was walking in for the first time, but I'm so grateful that I did.

If you are considering training BJJ, this is the best school. The instruction is great and backed by a lineage that speaks for itself. There are classes to fit every schedule and every class is filled with people from all walks of life, learning and practicing the art. You would be hard pressed to find a better school. Training at Dedeco BJJ has been great. Went in with no experience a year and a half ago and and found it to be a very welcoming group. The instructors are all great and make sure you are understanding the lessons of the day and the principles you need to focus on for your current level. The other people training are great at helping you along and giving tips that you may not know. Been a year and half and still have the bug to keep getting better. Highly recommend.

If you want to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu there is no better place than Dedeco BJJ. You will learn from expert instructors trained under Dedeco himself, who is a well known master of the art. If you have been thinking about starting but are hesitant you should give it a try. You will be welcomed in like family and meet some of the nicest, supportive people you’ve ever met. You will also find that your training partners are of all ages (I’m 42 yrs old) and backgrounds. They have a great culture here and I’m happy to be a part of it.

I've been training at Dedeco's for about 6 years, primarily at the Pembroke/Marshfield location. Everything about the school is first class- Dedeco himself is a true master, Danny is an expert in competing and instructing, and the community is second to none. I highly recommend anyone thinking about trying Jiu-Jitsu to stop by or call. It's one of the best decisions I've ever made.
