HR Block messed up my taxes to the tune of $6500. Rather than apologizing and trying to help me make it right, the woman I met with in the Lowell, IN branch put the blame on me, and really the only next steps that were given was that I need to pay back the amount, and HR Block will eventually reimburse me. I am sorry, but hearing from a preparer that messed up my taxes so incredibly, I absolutely have no interest in more or less loaning my money until HR Block determines it's the time to make it right. They also continually brought up that no other tax preparers offer anything similar to a "peace of mind" (which is a laughable name since my piece of mind is that I need to pay $6500 to the IRS out of pocket and eventually HR Block will reimburse me in 16-21 weeks) but it turns out that nearly every service and CPA I called offers something similar. Do yourself a favor and find a local CPA who actually cares. Spend the extra $50 elsewhere for actual peace of mind.

Been going to Lowell office for years and always in and out. Never waited for more than 5 minutes. Ever. Nancy has been my tax pro for years and I would highly recommend her to anyone. She has always been straight forward and will bend over backwards for anyone. Had problems in past and she went above and beyond to help and got it all squared up and got me an extra $1,000.00 one year for all hard work she has done and I did absolutely nothing but answer her calls.
