I've taken a number of clothing classes at The Creative Studio over the past couple of years. I've really enjoyed it!. I've had both Mikala and Krystal as instructors. They've both been great. I've really enjoyed learning how to alter patterns and improve fit, which I think is the hardest part of making clothes. The other students in the class have been lovely also. It's been nice to meet people that also love to sew. They also offer other craft classes and types of sewing classes, which I haven't taken yet, but other students have raved about them.

I’ve taken 2 courses here so far - sewing 100 and 101 - and can’t recommend this studio enough! I went in a total beginner, not even knowing how to thread a machine. Thanks to Mikala’s amazing teaching, I’ve been able to complete some sewing projects at home independently and am confidently dreaming up more! The space is so cozy and has a relaxing atmosphere too - the perfect place to spend a fall evening behind the sewing machine.

I just finished the Sewing 100 course with Mikala, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Mikala is a kind, patient, fun instructor and an excellent teacher. I learned an immense amount in 4 2-hour classes, without feeling overwhelmed. I have much more confidence in my ability to use my sewing machine, and because this class was so enjoyable, I'm really looking forward to continuing to learn and grow in my sewing skills by taking additional classes here.

I highly recommend taking a class at the Creative Sewing Studio! I was looking to get back into sewing after a 16-year hiatus and found the studio through an online search. So far, I’ve taken the Sewing 100 and Sewing 101 courses. Its been such a blast relearning how to use my machine and learning new sewing techniques. The class sizes are small and its been great to meet new people. Mikala is a talented teacher and creates a welcoming learning environment. Whether you have sewing experience or a beginner you will enjoy your time at the studio. I can’t wait to take more sewing classes and even art courses like soap making.

I have been taking sewing classes at the Creative Sewing Studio for years. They have a good variety of sewing classes for all levels, and their craft classes are great too. I just finished the Ribbon Wreath class & completed a beautiful wreath that matches the quality of any I’ve seen that cost a lot of money. I loved the process so much, I made a second wreath the next day! If you are looking for a creative outlet, this is the place. You will not be disappointed!

I am so happy with my experience at The Creative Sewing Studio! First of all, I chose this studio because they offer so many different types and levels of classes. I came in with zero sewing experience and now I feel confident on a sewing machine after one class--so much so I went and bought my own! The environment is so welcoming and Mikala's teaching style makes everyone feel comfortable to learn at their own pace. I intend on taking more classes here and would highly recommend them!

I recently attended the sewing 100 class at the Creative Sewing Studio and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. The instructor was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly patient and supportive throughout the entire course.

The curriculum was well-structured, starting with the basics such as learning about different types of fabrics, how to troubleshoot some common sewing machine issues, and fabric direction.

What impressed me the most was the friendly and encouraging atmosphere in the class. It was a safe space where I felt comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, knowing that I would receive constructive feedback to improve.
