If I could this 10 stars I would. Raymond is absolutely, hands down one of the best mechanics in the Boston area. Honest, integral, with an incredible work ethic and price. You can truly trust him to have you back on the road driving safely! Nothing short of excellent, and he will be the only mechanic that I use and that I would recommend for anybody in the area or needing a mechanic passing through the area! Amazing shop, service and experience! 5 stars AT LEAST!

I came to the shop, and talked to the owner. He jumped in my car to check out my squeaky breaks and drove around with me. He got me in the same day, and fixed everything at a very reasonable price, and with quality work and parts. Also, evaluated another problem i was having for free. I appreciate the help. The best repair shop in the area by far.

This is the auto mechanic I've been hoping to find. Great service, good price, and good honest work.

After getting all my services at the Toyota dealership (Woburn, and more recently Danvers), I was tired of the dishonesty and upsells (Ira Danvers tried to tell me I had to buy a single tire for $800 or my car was unsafe to drive - took it to Costco where I bought my tires and they fixed the very minor issue for free).

I called Raymond at Old Center for my next oil change and he got me in same day and had it done in 15 minutes! Charged less than any other shop I called and gave fantastic service. He even replaced 2 side marker lights I had bulbs for and wouldn't accept additional payment when I tried to give it to him, only charged me for the oil change. Such a refreshing experience! I'll be bringing my cars here exclusively from now on, and highly recommend to anyone.

I recently ask Ray to do a tune up on my 2010 Challenger R/T 5.7 (which entailed replacing 16 spark plugs). He gladly took on the job and for a more than fair price. When he was done, he handed the keys to me as he smiles, I think you will be happy. When I started the car, it sounded like a cat purring. It's been about a month now and the car is running great. Thank you Ray for your hard work on a day that was well over 90 degrees. Thank you for taking good care of my baby. Chris

I was looking for a mechanic after going to Toyota Tewksbury for years (highway robbery). The local social media sites highly recommended Old Center Auto. Ray is honest, kind, and extremely reasonable. I went in for an oil change, and my car is running better than before I brought it in for an oil change. 10/10 experience.

Had my truck towed there after breaking down. Ray replaced the transmission and got me back on the road quickly. The truck drives like new. Fast and friendly service, will be going to Ray for future repairs.

Not professional.

I just want to add some clarification to my review.

I do mobile diagnostics and programming on calls for shops so this is one of the cases where I came to program the ABS module and calibrate the Steering angle sensor on 11 BMW 335 and to diagnose 13 BMW 535 where the ignition would not come on. The 11 BMW 335 ABS module was programmed and SAS calibrated just fine and Raymond was notified that the car had a lot of codes not related to it. To clarify, I do what I've been asked to do. The 13 BMW 535 had a bad main ground and the service has demonstrated that the car will turn on the ignition and even barely crank when I put additional ground between the engine and body - so the problem is the main ground strap.

After both jobs were done I emailed him invoice as usually do got paid by check and left. 2 weeks later I noticed in the mail that the check was returned with the reason - "STOP PAYMENT" I sent a picture of it to the owner of the business and didn't get any response or clarification so I waited for two more days and gave them 1-star review here on Google.

One hour later I received a 1-star review from Raymond's wife for the company with which I have a partnership and NOT related to Automotive repairs and never had dealt with Old Center Auto Repair Inc. Why? I don't know - Dreamline Logistics didn't do any business for them and never had checks written to its name.

I wouldn't even bring it up but the reputation of an unrelated business was hurt through the third party.

I broke down and had a muffler exhaust leak very bad and it’s my work truck so I really needed it. I took it to these guys and they took it right in immediately and fixed. They gave me a ride and then charged me unbelievably reasonable price very hard to find these days.
